I somehow managed to install the game. if someone wants, I can upload it to google drive.

I found a solution with downloading files.
In the launcher catalog you should find file called launcher.ini.
Open it and pound line called mode, I think, that it is a channel for release build and beta. If you see somethink like mode rell, change this to beta
I did that and after rerunning the game and it downloaded successfully. I am not sure, that it was the case but it helped me, and this game is working as should.

You'll need to be using the launcher anyway when there is an update.

The solution to change the mode from release to beta still doesn't stop the geonames map is being used by another process error, anyone found solutions for this?

It now started installing. The engines might be you have to press fn and page up, not page up.

The cause of the engine bug has been discovered and a fix should be available shortly. True enough, it was introduced only this morning. I'll let you know.
We're still looking into the cause of the launcher issues and of the profile issues. No news on that front.

I changed the mode in the launcher.ini file from release to beta and it downloaded some more files then said that Eurofly had been updated to version 1.0.0.something, hit OK and it launched as normal but still unable to start the engines, so hopefully those of us who changed the mode to beta haven't locked ourselves out of the fix whenever it is made. Some official clarification on the Mode setting would be nice.
My opinions are my own. I try not to state them as facts and if I'm not sure about something, I do whatever research I can. I feel everyone should consider doing the same.

When launching eurofly, it launches but then i get an error saying something about read function can't be used or something.

Honestly we should just be patient because now I get an error that says cannot read beyond the end of the stream.

The game does load for me now, how ever, it produces a could read beond end of stream failure up on launch and no menu options do work
