@13 nope. Completely different kettle of fish. This series explores the journey of a young boy, the avatar, who is the only one who can learn to manipulate all four elements,. That is, Water, Earth, fire, and air to bring an end to the hundred year long war that the fire nation has been waging on everyone else. While it is made for children, I'd recommend this show for all ages, as it has really mature themes and some of the best character development I have ever seen. Hope this overview helps.

I'm assuming it's the 2009 film since that's fox. Also, when you check it out, do make sure it's the series as there is a truly dreadful film released in 2010 based on the first season. Easily one of the worst things I have ever seen. So disrespectful to the source material

The movie is so bad that the creaters of Avatar pretend it doesn't exist. M. Night Shyamalan ruined Avatar with that movie. All the names were mispronounced for example instead of The Avatar they called him the Ovvatar. All the humer found in the show was removed. It just never should of happened.
