Ivan, I feel like you may have just dealt your wavering reputation a death blow.

If you had outstanding requests for keys that you hadn't honoured for whatever reason, even after people paid you, then I don't think it's reasonable to expect anyone to take you seriously regarding money. For me, at least, you're sort of on the same list as Breakerbox now.

And to the rest of you: games go free sometimes. This, on its own, is not a terrible thing. Super Liam and Judgment Day, for instance. They're freeware now, but once upon a time I bought them, enjoyed them, had my fill of them. I don't regret it. I'm not howling about the forty-odd dollars I ultimately lost. Know why? Because I helped a developer by supporting them, and because I don't demand my things for free. This is the same as if I went back to a store a few years after a video game was released - or any other product, I might add - and demanded a partial or total refund because the item is now being offered on the cheap or free of charge. That's...kind of just not how it works. Ivan should not be faulted on this angle alone.

Ivan, stick to freeware until you can get your messes sorted out. I think that is the only way you're going to get any semblance of credibility and trust back.

That's the reason why open sourcing would be so nice. There would still be the kloner thing, but the community could add modes and send them to ivan.

Why would you want to sell your games? I personaly never have seen this go good. Only this year it failed 3 times.
