@Luel, haha nice, solved it already. The greatsword is a super rare artifact that can be discovered only by defeating a race with the prefix Sentinel in their title, ie Sentinel Elves, Sentinel Dwarves etc. The odds of such a race spawning are rare, hence the artifact being super obscure.

@Fredd, Yep, itch version is updated at exactly the same time as the steam version everytime. To keep updated download again from itch and merge with your current files, Saves will always work with new versions.

Awesome news on the update, and a belated happy birthday.

Btw, I know I'm relatively quiet as far as warsim goes, but everytime I come back to the game, I have a lot of fun and enjoy myself a huge amount, so I'm always keeping up with what's happening, and appreciate all the work that goes into the game, even if I only get to play intermittently.

Not really holiday, not really moving. It's like half and half, taking mom to take care of my nephew while I forge my future. It's a rough stuff after dad's death. Everything is off the wire at this point. But my nephew is so cute! The environment and people don't contribute to my depression healing though sadly.
I had an idea of some sounds I didn't like a few days ago but completely forgot what they were. Need to replay again and take note. I'm a writer, but noting stuff down is the last thing I do, meh.

hey, it is a couple game versions back and I'm not sure if it is a bug, but I think a prefix word for a ract that was generated got missed in the race description but not lost in the effect.

I had a race in independent kingdoms called "Alpha Men" However, when I looked at the description for the race, it talked about them using drugs to enhance their battle prowess, along with mentioning they were bigger and stronger than other men.

When I fought the race, it said alpha berserk man, but it did not say it in the race itself.

HAHA, OK: One little question for you all to bridge the time till the next update:
When i start a new game i configure it to have no bandits because I get annoyed every time they steal my beautiful gold, haha.
And afterwards i am feeling so bad cause i miss a part of the game.
Ya, i know, i am a strange little individual, HAHA.
So i wonder, whats your favorite configuration of a new game?

I mostly play the configuration where the game is similar to lord of the rings, while using the 777 cheate code.

@Firefly82, I feel you. Maybe worth playing as a bandit king so you will have good relations with the bandit gangs. I've played all sorts of set ups. One of my favourites was using the 445 cheat which makes all factions 10x bigger population wise.

I'd do that cheat twice and sudden all factions are giant empires and all the battles are huge and crazy. But I was just a tiny little city state trying to survive. It was fun and I wasn't sure I would survive but I was able to pick at the carcass of the dying empires ravaged by War.
