I am unfortunately still getting lag, I can't quit the game anymore with alt f4 either.
I'm very sure I was able to do it with no problems last time I played it.
Are there any services that need to be enabled in particular for the game to work?
Sorry for double posting, but I've noticed something else.
When I alt tab to the Warsim window, it used to read out the full path to the .exe; like D:\Steam\Warsim.exe, and now it doesn't.
It might not mean anything, but maybe the steam terminal has changed or something?
Sorry this happened to you mate, very odd. Any weird things that are happening beyond the game itself are likely something to do with the windows setup but I wonder what it is?
The steam terminal is the same it's always been, just pure cmd
@Wastelander, I have Atlas OS installed which is an edited win10, but it's meant for better gaming and it hasn't got any removed system components compared to other ones.
That's the only thing I can think of that could be affecting it, but there's nothing extraordinary about it.
Not reading out a path correctly has to do with how your screen reader gets along with the terminal. Do you remember changing any settings?
Are you able to launch and interact with other console applications? I wonder if this modified OS is subverting your terminal.

Most excellent WasteLander. Now, if only I could free my mad father and let him retire in style! Also, I wonder what ever happened to the queen? Will we be able to get queens to? I also wonder what would happen if you were able to meet an old game's king? What if there were 2 Aslonas or multiple Aslonas nested into each other and you had to fight 1 or more previous kings? Just some food for thought. Keep up the good work, I love warsim.
@3580 and 3581, I don't remember changing any settings, I have some windows services disabled but they're nothing to do with the terminal or game.
Perhaps you are right though, it's just a case of getting the patience to re-install everything from scratch again which I'd rather not do TBH.
As I said though every other game plays fine.

I really like the battle opinion system especially. I just hope it takes total battle score into account rather than just unit numbers. I assume it does though.
I like that necro really feels more like a separate play style now because of the significant risks and rewards of doing it, the dark path as it were. That's kind of neat.
And I checked out your band in that video you linked on the steam changelog. You guys sound good! I liked the lyrics too. I think it's fuckin awesome that you're getting gigs.
I hope that the next game will have accessibility too so that we can play it. Either way though, I am really pleased that you've managed to turn gamedev into more than just a bit of a side gig now, and I wish you the best of luck with the next one!

Isn't that a bit much even for a nerf?
This is just my opinion, but I'd rather get all the benefits of an op feature by working for it rather than obtaining it early on but having them nerfed to the point where they are like a normal unit if not worse, for example completing a certain point in the game etc
8X damage? wooooo!
To be fair, the nerf doesn't go nearly far enough to make a different in my opinion. The undead are such an extremely OP thing if used right and this came after a discussion. They still are a massive tool

Hey friends I started the game and the console opens, but text doesn't seem to be updating. I'm not sure what's going on. I'm using NVDA on windows, any thoughts?
I'm using Windows 8.1 and I'm playing this game on Steam. However, after the latest Steam update that was available to me, I cannot seem to find a link to updates or install the game. I can download the game fine, but I cannot play it outside of Steam for some unknown reason. I am not sure. The cracked version which you can find in everywhere. Why is that the case?
