Yep, it's a fighter based on the mobile game. It's coming to ps4 tomorrow and steam march 13.
Wow seems promising! Check out this review.

Al the reviews I've seen so far have been glowing. Looking forward to try it myself.. wish my capture card would work so I could actually record some footage.
Really one of the only consistent negatives I hear people complaining about is the netcode. I have no idea why these japanese devs refuse to use a superior netcode that has literally existed for decades at this point. It's pretty inexcusable.
Yup, definitely true there... but I guess it's because their internet is so good that they don't really have to rely on solid netcode for good matches. I'm still mad this isn't available in the Canadian ps store for preloading.
It's not available for preloading anywhere, sadly. Which is anoying as brandon and I are planning on fighting each other online today for his stream.
I am waiting for Steam release definitely and yeah. GGPO is the best netcode ever made as far as I know and so sad it is not used by more devs.
What is the whole fuss about Netcode? Is that just the implementation the developers use for their online servers?
@9 Damn it I want in! lol Wish I could get help fixing this capture card of mine... some online sets would be amazing. Also, are we even psn friends?
The game is now downloaded. The first screen after the intro movie is to choose the language for the license agreement. After that, the license agreement will come up, scroll down and hit x to agree. Then the privacy policy, same thing. The next screen tells you to enter a player name. Press x and the keyboard will show up. I'm assuming a regular keyboard works here, I hope it does. lol
Update: a regular keyboard works, and once you enter the name and press enter, go up and press x. Here you'l then come to a screen with two selections, one of which is a toggle with left and right, and one which is just clickable. Once you do that, you'll be in the main menu. This is where things get interesting. Press left once, and you will come to the menu with all the different categories; play, options, gallery, etc. Press right on any of those to go into the submenu.
Major Hint: every item for the main menu as well as the first layer of each submenu at least, you can press triangle and get a narrated dialogue box that tells you what mode it is in the form of a description. Default voices are set to English, so no problems there!
Wow, thank you @Assault! I'll definitely get this and that'd be cool if this game could get crossplatform.
I am actually working on another fighting game being made accessible on steam so We'll have something interesting in the near future!
No reviews have mentioned cross platform yet, so I don't think it's a thing, but maybe people just haven't used it yet. The game does require a separate profile and player name, so it might be a thing.
My psn is stirlock, feel free to add me. Be aware that if you want to play online, you'll have to play a few CPU matches to determine your rank, as well as a random ranked match before the rest of online opens up to you.
Any tips on the layout of the online menu? I think I've played one CPU match so far. Unfortunately, that part of the menu is missing the descriptive dialog box once you actually click the first option to get into actual matchmaking. I'd be curious to know what my rank turns out to be, though...
RPG mode is in english yeah. The difficult part will be weapon grid management, but I think it'll be doable with patience and OCR of course. I just completed the first major story arc and recruited my first character.
Apparently, the weapon system isn't really that vital. You can beat the mode without doing it, and as yu unlock more weapons the game has an option to automate a loadout for you. That's the only con to buying it on ps4 aside from not being able to invite friends to matches... no OCR. lol
Ah like final fantasy's optimize. I wish more games had that lol. Sounds really handy!
But you do have OCR on ps4. Remote play app on pC. It's how brandon streamed phoenix wright.
Need to get that set up first though.. and last I remember that wasn't accessible? lol Forgot about that though. Thanks for the reminder.
