No single player mode for this game, i have other ideas in mind for single player games. After this is done I'm gonna work on more single player stuff... But I keep saying things and then they don't happen, so we shall see. This game will happen though, and a lot of others will, too. I'm already committing to the same horrible strategy as last time... a thousand games at once. But it's actually working. Gotta make up for the years lost.

I thought server commands were already included in the release notes?
Also, Map-building in RTR in notepad will be a lot harder than using SBYW or STW. I myself had no success with the map builder either.

green gables fan, if the server commands are already included in the release notes, please send them my way? we may have a different version of the release notes, but my version doesn't have the server commands. and SLJ, thanks for modifying it. although map changes may work better in say, every 3 or so hours, that gives people the time to kill.

SCon is a way you can manage server commands from within the game. More about this later. Here you set it's password.

Think / in most places like STW. Instead of /, though, replace it with scon.
Server commands:

command    Args    Description
Who    none    Shows who's currently connected
currentmap    none    shows currently loaded map
kick    PlayerID    Kick the specified player
say    text    Chat a message to everyone connected
uptime    none    Shows uptime in minutes
exit    none    Exits server
ban    PlayerID    Bans the specified player's IP address
rename    PlayerID,New Name    Renames a specified player
map    New Map    Changes to the map specified
motd    New MOTD    Changes the message of the day
info    PlayerID    Gives info about that player.
You can execute these commands from within by typing this in the console:
scon <password> command args
So, if your password was question42, it would be:
scon question42 uptime
or
scon question42 kick 2

LOOOOOL you can kick yourself, I just tried. am I the only one, who finds this entertaining as hell? on a different note, you don't need scon password for uptime. just type in slash uptime. out of curiosaty, where did you find the commands?

guess I'll post my first reactions to the game, while the main server is down.
1) at this moment, I find the weapon sounds too similar. whether this is good or bad, time will tell. 2) uncle susi can still get your ass kicked. I haven't set up a server on my localhost, to see if I was to put cheats on 0, whether it will allow me to use it, but I can, if anyone wants me to do so. 3) new, a load, of, new, maps! awesome! 4) now I see the server commands. 5) the windows key, while in the game, doesn't work. good, as you can't accidently hit it instead of control. bad, as if you want to multitask, you must now alt tab. 6) after hitting v, the speech thingy pauses, and then gives me a random phrase. no idea if intentional or not. so far, though, so good. that's it for now.

I got the game to work its awesome. but how do you do the offline mode? against the bots
