That was a wonderful trailer with some chill music and footsteps ... can't wait to play this ... uh ... ...
Who am I kidding what an absolute garbage first trailer that was.

Edit:
At the end of post 73, just past the signature, my issue was addressed. It was my mistake for not seeing that, and while I still wish that my questions had been answered on the other channels I posted them on, I was still very much wrong about the lack of response on the forum.
Original post:
@PitchBlack
It's starting to feel like your ignoring our feedback about this game.
I tried commenting on the Youtube video, I posted on the Discord server, and I posted here. You've even posted about these recent updates after you should have seen all the talk around the difficulty. So what gives?
I understand that things can be hard to keep up with all alone and the world is shitty right now, but are you really the only PR guy? Because it would be pretty hard to keep up with all the channels of communication by your self.
Also, what's the actual best place to contact you guys, I mean the one with the best chance of being seen?
Moderation:
LordLundin, I'm dropping an official caution here. There's constructive criticism, and then there's the sort that does absolutely no good. Yours falls into the latter category. Cut it out.
Moderation is done now, so on to my thoughts.
Defender, it looks like they made combat faster/harder (as noted a few posts back), but the latest youtube video is...a little bizarre. Some odd music, some weird background noise, and some first-person narration. I confess it feels a little bit scattered and unfocused. Trailers should mean something.
@Jade
I can't find where they addressed the feedback about the dodging speed.
Hi.
Yet an other trailer which says absolutely nothing to me. If the trailers was the only thing I saw, then I would skip to the next game for sure.
For me, it's like watching a trailer with video which tells me absolutely nothing by listening to the sounds. I assume this is an audio based trailer. It surprises me that yet an other audio based trailer feels like it says absolutely nothing.
Having said that, I look very much forward to playing the game.
Hi everybody!
The trailers are meant to set the theme and style of the game. If you'd like some more game-play elements, we've done that as well in longer playthroughs which you can find here-
Fight mechanics: https://youtu.be/IBSVuFQq66A
Walking through the space: https://youtu.be/FPvU_CSGMx8
As regards listening to feedback and the fighting, as I said in post #73, based on this feedback we've made the dodging significantly harder later in the game.
Hope you're all doing well, and thanks for the interest in the game!
Harry
I know it's umpic offtopic, but I'm asking here not to open another topic: how long does the second chapter of Pitch Black last?
@PitchBlack
My apologies! I didn't see your P.S because it was under the signature, and it's standard to skip to the next post once you get to that line.
I'll edit post 77 to explain my mistake to others.
@SLJ and @LordLundin
I agree that the first couple trailers were a bit meaningless, but listening to the later ones, especially the last part of each, it actually does give a decent idea of the story. These videos aren't meant to give everything away, just as mainstream trailers aren't. The fact is that this is episode 1 of 3, and they probably just don't have allot of content to summarize in the first place, so they decided to pad it out with scene setting, which I find to be cool in an artistic sense anyway.
Also you can't forget the gameplay videos, if you didn't watch those, that was your choice...
A trailer is meant to draw interest - if it fails to do so, it's pretty much useless.
I'm going to go watch the actual gameplay now.
Great ambience and interactions ... the combat just seems like stanrdard stock combat and that has me sad.
Should've put some walking through the city in the trailer, along with an introduction to the protagonist. The walking part had me more excited than the thing that's supposed to draw you in the first place!
Hi.
I have watched the gameplays and they are really great.
@LordLundin
Did you not listen to trailers three and four? The protagonist is almost certainly the man with the Southern American accent at the end.
Also, it definitely helped peak my interest... And the likes on the videos speak for them selves.
I'm not going to pretend they aren't confusing, but neither do I think they are nearly as useless as you seem to.
Hey everyone! We just released a new video! It's an introduction to one of the antagonists in the game, Rex, you can check it out here!
To Deucalion, Chapter 2 of the audio book is about 20 minutes long.
All the best
Harry
@PitchBlac wow that was a cool little video! still looking very much forward to this game!
Wow. Nice video.
New character trailer up everybody!
As regards release, we've had to push the game back a little due to some technical issues, we're doing thorough bug tests at the moment and don't want to let the game loose until it's just right. We'll be sure to announce an official date once we're content that it's ready.
All the best
Harry
Hi.
Sorry if this has been asked before, but how is dusklight coming along?
Will it still be released in october?
Thanks.
@pitch black cool trailer! though I did see this when it was actually posted which was I believe a week ago. still watched it for some amusement though.
Hey guys! We've got a new character trailer out today, this time it's for our main protagonist, The Detective:

Hey RTT! Thanks for checking in on A Dusklight Story! We've actually got a new trailer coming out for that very soon, due to popular request, we've been experimenting with additional game play mechanics as we want the world to feel a little more interactive, and the game play a little more strategic, we have a video coming out next week about a stealth mechanic we've been working on for the sewer level in fact. We'll post over on that thread once it's up.
All the best
Harry
looking forward to the 2 games.
I really want to play.
it will be a beautiful investment that I will make by buying the 2 games!
