Hey,
Thanks for mentioning that here. I've not played for a while but just grabbed the newest version. Some of the new automation for colony governor assignmetn in particular looks pretty neat.

The game has been updated. A lot of bug fixes, some changes and so on. Feel free to try it out, although the developer recommends not starting any major campaigns for a few days after the release of the new version.

I haven't checked it myself, but judging by the change log, you can now use Space instead of a double click when designing ships. It seems like a pretty good change.
