It says 0.10 percent.
This means, that every time you attack an enemy, the enemy loses 0.10 percent of there health.
If you attack something with 10000 health, this means that the enemy is losing about 10 health.
Of course that is really really small.

2019-04-11 20:38:34

right i see. so i need to push those numbers up whilst trying to get the other set down?

2019-04-11 20:46:26

when firing and assigning jobs, is there a quicker way of doing it than pressing the button?

2019-04-11 21:37:29

@302
Just increase attack, a lot.
Your health looks nice.
@303
You can buy more than one of an item. That menu where you can select all, buildings, jobs, upgrades and equipment? Right under that is a list where you can select 1, 10, 25 or 100. You can also select custom, type in a custom number and press enter.
It also shows the last custom number you entered, so that you can get back to it quickly.

2019-04-11 22:10:24

does that work for hiring and firing? or could i type -20 to fire someone for example? when you look at the building info, why is there a percentage number given in it? what does that mean?

2019-04-12 07:35:53

morning all. if i put myself in a map purely for resource gathering and equipment purposes will the enemies i face still get stronger? or will they stay the same as they would at that particular level of the map?

2019-04-12 12:57:55

@291
Void maps start spawning when you portal several times.
@304
Actually, the attack and health percentages shown are the minimum damage and health dealt and lost respectively. If you do the discipline challenge, though the damage dealt appears to be extremely low, in the wiki it is said that there's no big difference in average, as the maximum damage is put much higher. I've done it myself and was able to complete it, though maybe it was slower.
@305 @306
I type positive numbers, check fire, and it works that way. For maps, no, they don't get stronger in subsequent runs.

2019-04-12 13:31:12

cool because i'm sitting in a map just trying to push my attack up as high as i feel i want too before i go on. i take it i get helium from blimps after z20? i've seen blimps before but they don't seem to count. yes i'm on my second run so i can get helium from blimps now.

2019-04-13 17:01:41

Yeah, you can only get helium from blimps after completing the dimension of anger each run. There are other ways of getting helium but you only unlock those later in the game.

I've completed Discipline, Metal and Size and gotten the perks from them. I lovelovelove Carpentry! I wanna get lots of helium so I can upgrade all my things as much as possible! I guess that means at least a few balance runs...

2019-04-13 20:07:07

how do you know if you have the pirks from completing challenges? i did the disaplin one but can't really tell if i have got the pirk from it. also can you run them multiple times?

2019-04-13 21:39:53

hmmm ok. i went to z22. for some reason it's cycled round and gone back to the start of 22. any ideas?

2019-04-14 04:51:26

You can tell if you've gotten the perk both from the log if you have the story turned on and by clicking the "View Perks" option in the table where you can save/export/change settings etc. The unlocked perks are at the top of the list in the dropdown panel, and you can spend any helium you had left over on them, but only from previous runs. That's how I'm benefiting from Carpentry right now.

2019-04-14 11:48:49

ah right i see. speaking of pirks, what are the preset options for? also if i wanted to play this game on multiple machines how would i do it?

2019-04-14 12:19:03

Now, that, I do not know. I've not messed with the presets in either the perks or the maps. If someone who has tested them could enlighten us, I'd appreciate it too.

2019-04-14 12:29:46

yes i haven't messed with them because i don't want to mess with what i've already done if that makes sense. there's nothing in the wiki to tell me not that i can find as to what they do.

2019-04-14 19:35:02

How will I know if I have an available void map? I haven't seen one yet but is it obvious when one shows up? I've read the wiki page but it doesn't base its info on the screen-reader version.

2019-04-14 22:05:33

The maps button will have a number after it if you have any void maps, and there will also be a void maps option at the top of the map chamber interface. Also, @313-315, to use a preset press the number of the preset you want, then 'save'. It will save your current perk setup. To load a preset press the preset number then load. Your current helium distribution will be replaced with the one in the preset and you will be free to spend any additional helium you've earned since then.

2019-04-14 22:53:16

oh right i see. i want to get my helium up to 100 before i reset. then i'll go somewhat further. can you complete challenges multiple times? if so is there advantages to doing that or is it a case of once that award has been gained then any subsequent runs don't count?

2019-04-15 01:39:44

ok so i tried doing the size challenge. i pressed enter on it. then i checked out the view pirks option to see if the challenge was active and it wasn't. any ideas here? is there a problem with doing challenges?

2019-04-15 02:25:16

You can only start a challenge when you portal, not when you respec.

2019-04-15 02:30:45

i did portal

2019-04-15 02:31:23

or are you saying that you can't change pirks at all even increasing them?

2019-04-15 02:35:10

After you portal, you can use your one per run respec to assign perks, but you cannot start a challenge during this process. All challenges require they be activated at the time you portal and must start at level 1.

2019-04-15 02:41:36

right. but i assume though assuming you have assigned pirks at the end of the previous run that won't count? also if i was to remove pirks would i get the helium back that i used?

2019-04-15 02:47:38

I'm not sure what you mean by your first question. Yes, you get all the helium back if you respec or otherwise remove perks. Think of it as allocating helium towards a specific perk rather than actually spending it.
