Okay last question I swear, are there any guides to set up text to speech if I don't have anyone sighted around me? I've looked online and I know how to get to it kind of, like to go to settings, accessibility, etc, but any step by step instructions would be great. Thanks. Assume I'm just taking it out of the box(I will be)

You need some sighted help to run the first time setup, so you can't do that on your own.
I don't fully remember how to inable the TTS afterwards, but I can check up on this.
So the ps store isn't taking my card. Says it's invalid. Anyone figure out this stupid problem?
Yeah, hate to say it, but you've probably wasted your money, death. Last I heard, TTS doesn't work with the majority of the system, and to be completely honest, probably never will. You're better off the the xbox one. There are only one or two things that don't speak, and will probably be fixed in the future.
The credit card problem is one I've had to... sometimes your card either just doesn't like it. the alternative, which is what I use... is to get a psn card from an online sight like pcgamesupply.com using your credit card and entering those into your account. Less hastle, and Sony doesn't get your credit card information.
Sterlock, why the never will comment? lol Just curious. the last update added a couple more things... and we aren't even at the next big firmware update which is version 4.0 yet. It's taking longer with the ps4, but as I've said before... xbox1, being windows 10 based, already had a more solid narrator bass to begin with. Not that I'm arguing, mind. I like how accessible narrator is... the library just isn't as good as the ps4's imo.

Does the TTS on the ps4 work anywhere outside of the US yet? I don't want to modify the region settings and stuff to get it to work...
Not yet, as far as I'm aware. But like you said, it's not strictly necessary... just a nice bonus to have. I used my ps3 for years without a tts, and while it's again, nice to have, it doesn't make or break my purchase of a console. Game library is what matters to me at the end of the day.
Personally The TTS is just a bonus for me. Is it nice, sure, do I hope it improves, sure, but I don't get a game console for accessibility. Also thanks for the suggestion, I'll do that.

Then it's time to give out some tips. I have more than 10 games on my ps4, which I have bought from the Playstation network. The voice recognission doesn't work to select all those games, and I'm having so much difficulty on finding the game I wanna play. What do I do? How do i make sure I've found the game I wanna play? this is the reason for I'm waiting for the TTS to be released outside the US. But when you don't see the point of the TTS on the console, then you need to tell us how to come around this issue.
When this answer hopefully has been answered, I have more questions to you regarding how to manage some settings and stuff without the TTS.
I should point out that not all of the settings screens are even read by the tts. Just fyi
Okay, for finding the games, That can be a pain. As for the settings, Use the online user guide. It has the settings in order. Can you give an example of what game your trying to launch? I will admit, I had trouble getting game of thrones to come up when using the voice recognition. I will ask my brother to tell me how the library works.
Most of the games from the Telltail series gives me trouble. The Dust doesn't always get selected, and some times, a game which usually works won't work, which result in random selection of a game. So I assume you have any tips for me when you don't see the point of having a TTS on a console. I find deleting games pretty risky without speech.
Regarding the settings, the users guide doesn't tell me the ordre of the sound settings, which is needed to get surround sound to my amplifyre. I don't know if the TTS supports this menu though.
if using tts, go into settings, and scroll down I think to game data or something like that, and it reads you all of your games and save data, and you can access any of your games from this area
Have you actually tried this? That menu wasn't supported when I checked yesterday... the sound menu works just find. The system application data management screen is not supported.
ok so I just tested it, and correction you don't go to settings. go all the way to the right on the second row to library. go down to games. its going to show you all the game files that you have played on your ps4, ps3 and veda. click on the ps4 game you want, then its going to take you to another screen where it says "tts not available here" no worries, simply press X on this screen and it will take you inside the game. this small feature was added in the recent ps firmware update
Can you tell me how far games is? and, how is the library organised? alphabetically? or does it use date installed? and, does games include your digital ganes as well?

Metal gear solid and metal gear solid 2 are playable with guides, and I think metal gear 3 is mostly playable as well.
No one has had a chance to try the new Doom yet? I wish it was playble.

I think doom will never be playable, the game involves complex exploration and shooting, so it's hard for us
I haven't had a chance to give the new Doom game a try yet, but if they make the same awesome console system like in Doom 3, a lot of things will be playable. Not the whole story, but there will be a lot of things you can play around with, such as spawning monsters, load the level you wanna play, get the weapon you want etc. A lot of things might be easier on a console because of the controller, but I can't confirm any of those things yet, because I haven't tried it.
The latest news I've heard is about the open beta, which is only online gameplay, which I don't see become accessible.
hi guys, some hours ago there is a new TMNT game released.
the title is teenage mutant ninja turtles: mutants in manhattan, developed by platinum games, the developer known for bayonetta, bayonetta 2, transformers: devastation, the legend of korra, and other games and this game was published by activision.
the game is available on the PS3, PS4, X360, and Xone.
this is A 3D beat-em-up, but I'm not sure if this one is playable or not, since listenning to all the gameplay footage, the game is heavilly based on platforming and complex exploration.
anyway, has anyone tried this one yet? if this one is playable, let us all know.
