@assault_freak: I don't had any issues with that part. the nav assist guided me to the right spot.
Sadly, I'm forced to give up on the game for now. I'm stuck at the Funky mission, where the nav assist fails big time.
I'll try to contact the developers about those issues. It's so sad, because the game is 99% accessible.

Wish you both luck contacting the devs! As for my part, the nav assist definitely did not lead me to the right spot, so I'll have to try Lirin's trick of just searching for it on my own. When I actually buy the game, that is. lol

Yeah the version you're probably seeing is the remastered one. I don't think Miles made it on to PC yet either though not sure on that one. We may see it on PC next year though, I don't remember how long it took the first Spidy to get a PC port

So I am still abit stuck at the make your own choices mission. I completed the scanning part just fine but now have to find the generator to punch it. Problem is I can't find that. The waypoint leads me to a roof with a fire and sparking equipment as well. Although the guide says that I should face the loudest one and just pan around, the button prompt won't come up. Is there a hint to locate the generator, at least the direction I need to face?

Also, if the waypoint I need disappears, do I still need to walk around the location or is it enough to stand still and pan around?

The roof you're on is the same one you started on as per the guide.  The generator is on that roof.
Navigating to the waypoint won't put you right at the prompt, but careful movement forward and maybe slightly to your left should give you a prompt to venom punch.

After activating the generator, do I need to move anyware to web in the nodes? I ask because I face northwest and pan up  and down to find a node, but can't find one. And before I move off somewhere and mess up the hole thing, I wanted to preemtively ask if I need to move somewhere.
I am not using aim mode, just the right stik as detailed in the tutorial file.

how playable is the side missions like stopping crime? thats all i really care about is swinging through the city and stopping crime, don't really want to play the main story.

unfortunately, from what I experienced in the demo at least, their's no way to rerout your objective to the side msisions, which is a major reason I didn't get the game after the triall period.

Big big misinformation here!

You can absolutely, absolutely do side missions! We can even do photo ops! Photo ops  are not the easiest thing in the world to do, but you can certainly do them. You do have to use the map to find side content like crimes that aren't story focused, but things are announced when you highlight them. The waypoint will update to whatever you hit X on, so you can track them. There is a weird thing about these however. Sometimes if you happen to overshoot your objective, the waypoint goes away, but you can reset it by going to the map and reselecting it.
