Oh boy... That depends. I can't narrow it down to one since no game has really hooked me forever, but yeah here are some possible answers I would've given at different times.
If you'd asked me in 2022, my answer would be Crazy Party. But that eventually got really boring because most of the people I played with fell into one of three categories: A, they were insanely competitive to the point where it quit being fun, B, they had insane skills and beat me every time, or C, they presented me absolutely no challenge. While I don't play every game with a hard core competitive spirit, I do enjoy friendly competition, and for this reason I feel better when I'm with someone who's roughly equal to me, where the winner is impossible to guess.
If you'd asked me in 2023, I would've said Mist World. I played that day in and day out for 6 months, and then after that I took a week on and a week off for a long while too. But it got boring and not fun for several reasons. especially when you're at level 77 like me. It's getting to the point now where free play is an absolutely huge drag because crafting better gems is an absolute nightmare, and I'm just getting tired of each level taking so long to get through. I've only paid like $35 in my whole time of playing mw as well, (purchasing vip 3 times and buying a gift box for a friend), so yeah, I have no paid items other than the diamonds I got from vip... And yeah, we all know how much money they make off of people who can afford to buy a crap ton of gems and enhancing their eq to epic/heavenly/godblessed levels or what have you. That and some other things have pretty much turned me off from the game, which is a damn shame, because the stuff that initially intrigued me to death when I started still tugs at me to come back. I'd love to see the new areas and dungeons and hear the new sounds, and see if other dynamics happen later on, but at this point I can't be bothered to keep grinding. My char is still up though so we'll see, maybe after a long break I'll bounce back.
Right now, if I could only play one game, it would probably be something idle or incremental. A few months ago it would've been antimatter dimensions (until I got to the reality phase and ran into massive accessibility problems). Right now I'm alternating between Crafting Kingdom and Idle Iktah, and if I could only have one, it would probably be the latter since CK is, um, very grindy and monotonous too. But at least monotony is the actual nature of that game. Another game I'd consider putting on the table is Swordy Quest... But I've heard that is hella grindy too. I'm at level 20 ish now and I can already see myself getting bored with it. So yeah, I guess my final decision, at least at this moment, would be Idle Iktah. Now let's see how long I could go without regretting that choice
Make more of less, that way you won't make less of more!
