I'm not seeing any preload option. I just see a note saying that the open beta begins Friday at 9 AM PDT.

Yeah, I had to fiddle with it too. Had to tab back-and-forth, but there should be a preload option somewhere above the note saying that the early access is over. Also you can choose to download the beta or the "Live" version. Don't know what that latter one is, but I went for the beta.

@31 there is a button where you can change the game version. there you select diablo 4 beta and the button for pre download it should apear to you

yeah I downloaded the client.
To find diablo Iv beta open your battle net app, go to games memu, than select all games, than check the checkbox which says blizzard games. Than select diablo Iv beta. A new website should be appeared.. You should find a submenu, where you can select a diablo 4 version. Select open beta. After that click on preinstall beta. Please note, that after downloading the game a play button will not be available until friday.

I got an email from Playstation about this today. Someone let us know how to enable tts for the game and I'll give it a whirl on ps4. Never played a Diablo game before so I habe no clue what I'm getting into.

after reading it, I decided to preload the pc version, because the one on playstation looks less accessible at the moment.
I just hope my integrated graphics from the amd 5800u will let me play it in 720p 60 fps.
tomorrow we'll see.

the TTS starts talking when pressing X on it on the first boot. I'm not sure, but I think it's the first option.

Based on Sightless Kombat's stream, you have to get past the brightness setting first.

To those asking about TTS, if the flow hasn't changed, you indeed have to get past the brightness screen once you've logged in/linked your accounts. Once you've got through brightness, however, you can enable TTS and go from there. Good luck.

Well, guess I will try logging in somewhere around the early hours of tomorrow, hoping that there are different servers for US and Europe and that the majority of the european server is actually asleep.
I had pritty good success with D3 back on PS4 and now on PS5 with the help of OCR and a capture card, so I basically know the formula, will see how it goes.

Yes, it does support controller. In fact it is the only way to play for us due to the menu system and aiming.

I believe so, but don't quote me on that. Guess we'll see in 35 mins or less. Started from 88 then jumped to 42 mins.

I just pressed X on my dualshock and got to screenreader settings. I pressed X again to turn it on. Then a bit later when fiddling with the TTS settings it crashed, so I'm waiting in line again 
I guess turning on third party screenreader support was a bad idea.

I have no idea why it is doing that. I used the dpad to move the brightness setting just for the hell of it then pressed X. BTW I could see that my controller was detected during the queue since if I pressed the keyboard the cancel button was normal, but if I pressed my controller I heard a faint click and OCR showed an @ sign before cancel. Sorry I can't be more help. If you have the patience, try closing the game and restarting.

Got it, just unplugged and plugged in my controller again. Now trying to figure out character creation and menu navigation. I wish they'd told you what buttons were mapped to what, like in the last of us. Triangle was what got me to the first cutscene before creation which I didn't expect at all. lol I also can't figure out how to change difficulty. Apparently, it landed me on hardcore by default.
Immediate impressions, things are reasonably workable if you have patience. Once the game started though, I couldn't even find my way to the first objective, though that also may have been me. Will probably try it again when the game lets me back in. The menu navigation definitely takes some getting used to.
