found another hack for pokemon fire red for the gameboy advanced
I think the Developer is still available on Discord. He took down the development cause he was scared of nintendo.
But maybe he would help us with our problem with the scripts?
So... I've started making a thing. Currently, all I've done is started correcting default sprite names for crystal clear. Remember to back up your original sprites file if you choose to get this. Not everything is done yet, but hopefully it will be eventually.
Any more than this though will require the help of someone else more experienced than I, since really all I'm doing is changing the text in the file by comparing the two roms. Also please don't mind some of the stupid object names, those will be there if you see them because I didn't know what the duplicate names would refer to.
To be fair, there are... a shitload, and some share sprites even if they're not the same exact thing. lol So a few mistakes here and there are inevitable.
I think I'll download that file when its complete. where does the sprites file go?
Hate to burst your bubble, but I doubt that'd be any time soon. I can't exactly compare every single sprite in crystal clear to the original crystal, and if kenshira is right, to ffix every single mistake in the script. Let alone the maps, because I have no idea what the addresses were changed to in CC, and no idea how to find out. It's basically complete, for the most part as far as the different trainer classes are concerned anyway.
The sprites file is in lua\lang\en
Could someone give me the coordinates for the cianwood gym? The pathfinding tells me it is on x17 y42. Is this correct?
are rare candies still a thing in this game?
Not sure if anyone else has this issue, but after I beet the verileon city gym and I went to buy some potions I clicked on yes and they didn't show up in my pack.
If anyone knows a way to solve the ruins of alp puzzles and is willing to share, I would be really grateful.
Also never had that happen in the game before, might be a bug. Try a different shop.
@FlameAlchemist: Perhaps you should sell or toss something from your inventory, except if you heard the specific sound that means you bought something. In that case I am not sure what you should do.
OK, pathfinding is definitely broken in some areas. I found the Gym in cianwood and it was on different coordinates than it was named in the list. Thats realy bad.
if I were to copy over the pokemone chrystel I have where would the save be located? I've only did saving in the game. should I make a save state and move it to the copy of CC I just downloaded again?
In the pca folder you should see another folder called battery. There you will find a .sav file. You want that file in that folder if you want to copy a save.

yeah I usually just have someone sighted do the puzzles. I never figured any of that out.
Maybe I will load this into my PSP and have my brother solve it or something. Does anyone remember the puzzle locations? I know that one is in the ruins, another is union cave, another is on the wirl islands I think and can't remember the last.
Yes, it's called google.
@Kenshira the puzzles are all in the ruins, aren't they? It's just sectioned off into 4 different rooms, 1 of which is cut off from the main part so you have to cut through Union cave to get to it.
