If I may suggest something for the blood Thickblood tavern....why not have it structured in upgrades like the arena with each costing and and stuff? Just an idea.

Also holy shit I learned the hard way to not fuck with demons on the insane difficulty. Are you sure they aren't buffed the higher difficulty you go or did I just manage to get a bad run?

there could be upgrades to the tavern, I like the idea though, make the taverns income dynamic based on randomness plus upgrades

Hey guys, todays update adds a heap of new human names that are randomly generated, tons of new faces, and lots of work in the exploration screen, there is now a new law you can enact to make the militia recruit more, a new screen in independent kingdoms where you can view the crown closer, and you can now fully use the thickblood tavern with its dynamic graphic and upgrades, also beware the old stone!

Two suggestions:
First, maybe a cool addition would be news, kind of like the war news in the smugglers games. So, you get randomly news and reports about something wich has happened in the game world far away from you and your kingdom. For example you get infos about the general war development, about ambushes and other changes, about rumors you could investigate, or about something what criminals have done, or price development for traders and buying or selling items etc. This could make the game world even mor dynamic and let's things change even more.
Another thing are proffessions. For example, you could be a bounty hunter and get missions in the game wich you can take, in wich you fight or find criminals and other stuff. Other professions are possible as well.

Another suggestion: It would be cool to have the possibility of crafting items and such from materials you can get like wood and such. This way you could build things like new items, weapons and other stuff. Maybe an experimental part could be added as well, so that you can try out what happens if you combine materials or use different elements or chemicals in combination to create some new stuff for your kingdom, or as a bad surprise for your enemies.

Hey guys, todays update has been a little bit delayed but it includes some pretty big new additions, including the ability to hold meetings in your throne room and ask for help from your staff, you also now receive general taxes on top of the more specific ones, and requesting alliances isn't so easy, plus you start the game with a random bit of gold in the bank and you can now see easier who is at war with you, which has made things scary!

How are you calculating these statistics and adding such incredibly massive amounts of faces and graphics to the game at one time?

I ask because it seems like this should be something truly revolutionary by the way it sounds. As if when you play, you should practically never see the same face twice for any race, especially since human faces should be well over 500000000000000000 by now and the probability is completely against repeat faces.

Same goes for names. Are there just massive databases of names, prefixes, suffexes and such out there that people can use or something?

Well david, faces are layered into 7 layers, one for each part of their face, for humans

there are 358 Head tops and hair parts
there are 190 Forehead and brow parts
there are 358 Eye parts
there are 258 nose and ear parts
there are 93 upper lip parts
there are 173 mouth parts
there are 403 chin and beard parts

which is then summed up by 358 x 190 x 358 x 258 x 93 x 173 x 403 and it could even be further multiplied by the 3 different skin colours the face could have, white grey or brown

total without considering skin colour 40'735'538'145'815'760 (40 quadrillion)
total with skin colour 122'206'614'437'447'280 (122 quadrillion)

Humans being just one of 70+ races, and at least 25-30+ individual face generators! smile

Hey guys, todays update has been slow cause I've been insanely busy with things at the moment and have been doing a ton of overtime at work, I have added a few cool things this time around, hats which rarely appear on human heads, a more interesting ending chance for some kingdoms instead of a just a final battle and a new race that was suggested a while back which is essentially slime people, that aside I've fixed a few bugs, made easy mode a little easier and added a few new throne room encounters

Something I came across just now.

Text for upgrading the Thickblood tavern is for hiring the bandits. Just FYI.

Also, I love the progress of the game but can we please, pleae keep the non steam version given what a pile of shit Steam is accessibility wise? I'd much much rather see this stay off of steam alongside the Steam version. That, and Greenlight going away isn't filling me with confidence this'll make the cut....

Either way, I love the new changes. This is one of my favorite games. Now if somebody could do a GoT mod (hint, hint)
Also....another bug I found is thatat least for me there's a few typos that lid through the net, or did you change the general's name and not tell anyone? smile

I'm looking forward to some random starting people, actually. We sure get the same same same set of co-op npcs to work with everytime we start...or is it changed? i have yet to look into the latest version:p
And I think start kingdom name can be modded somewhere, right? Would be cool to be able to change it though. Gives more sense of feeling to be my own. I'm quite obsessed with independance:p

The typo I was referring to that sticks out at me is in the militia subsidy law.


When you enact or revoke it, at least in my version which was downloaded from the last update post, it states the following

an militia subsidization

Should be a militia, not an militia

Also for some reason I swear I get the exact same stats for the game master event in the throne room.

Also even without the ASCII on I still get a bunch of weird symbols when the guards bring somebody forward accused of whatever. I just go and put them in the dungeon myself regardless of if they are guilty or not. Pair that with the rehab law, and pair THAT with the alms for the poor law, and pair THAT with crafty trading deals...and it first make sure you maxed out the arena and have bandits pillaging everything in sight for you.....and you're set.

1. Trading with EVERYBODY I can

3. 29k bandits because why not...

4. Maxed out arena, mines, magic theater, and tavern all contributing to income...

6. Rents too of 190 lands (Yes, 190.....:P I'm letting the bandits live on a little longer. 190 land, vs 2 landsI sold most of my soldiers off to reduce upkeep)

Now for a question about the militia. If I sell peasants and knights, will they show up in the militia and help defend my kingdom or not?
