Hi all,
I was given permission by the German developers of this addon package to post on their behalf. An addon has been developed which allows blind players to play WoW TBC (The Burning Crusade Classic.) The addon allows you to navigate independently, complete quests, manage inventory, read all quest information, interact with npc's, keybind assign skills and spells, communicate with other players and in general progress as far as level 60 and beyond if you ask for a little help in the higher levels. I'm posting all the relevant links below. Please keep in mind I didn't develop this and I don't post or comment on this forum often but I'll also leave a link to the English discord server for questions. The guide should walk you through all the process. Keep in mind most of the blind English players are playing on the U.S. Eastern server named Pagle. There are definitely as mentioned above a few things you'll need sighted help for in the late game. Also, raiding etc will need a sighted tank most likely. But all the things I listed above are fully accessible.

I should stress that while you can do most things, you can't do everything. You will still need sighted people to go through dungeons with, as well as raids which are designed for big groups anyway. As it currently stands, blizard don't give us all the info we need in those instances because players used to use it to bot. You can follow people and target the same thing they're targeting, as well as monitor health of different party members etc.

Yup, James is correct. This addon does however allow you to be a productive member of a raid or group.

This is great! I will probably get this at some point too. This is also awesome because you wouldn't go in to a dungeon with just yourself, you'd go with a group anyway kind of like you do in Alter Aeon, so really if you can be productive, you don't really need anything else and you can complete quests by yourself anyway, so really its awesome!

Strange, I just clicked it again and it works fine. We've all been downloading from that link. Immediately after clicking it the download begins for us. If you can't get it to work for you though I can upload it to dropbox temporarily for you to get it.

Oh, possibly. We've been downloading from the United States and I think one person in South America, it was also tested in Germany. Not sure about other locations though. Give me just a minute and I'll upload it to dropbox for you.

If you use wowup, you'll see that questy and gtfo have updates after installing the starter package. Sku also has an update but wowup will say it's ignored. Just make sure to update those things.

nice work, when I will get my money, I will test this as soon as possible. It is sad, that we can not try this game like we can do in normal world of warcraft before paying for this. I dont understand, why we needed a separate account for wow classic, if this game is available from battle net, where we have account. Normal wow doesnt needs a separate account, it works with battlenet account.

Wow. This is really amazing. Thanks for sharing. I'm so glad all the information, addons, scripts and video demonstration finally has been translated into English.
I'm currently sick so I don't have the energy to give it a try yet.
The link which Stirlock mentioned does also work here, so it might be location based, and might only work for us from Europe.
Regarding Mac: I asked about that as a comment on the awesome demonstration on Youtube, since he is using a Mac. I got a reply back that it's not possible to create a character on the Mac. So I'll first make it work on my virtual Windows to create a character, and then continue playing on my mac if it takes up too many resources on my virtual machine.
Man, i can't wait to recover from sickness and check this out...
