Two years ago, when I was playing STW, I heard of something called RTLS or RTLF. It stood for something like relative time something. It had to do with 3D audio manipulation.
I am writing an article regarding surround sound and its psychoacoustic effects on people with hearing loss.
I also remember that Red Spot was the first to use it, and then STW followed shortly thereafter.
If anybody here knows what I'm talking about, it would be greatly appreciated to see your reply.

It is HRTF. It stands for head related transfer function
