Brief update... at the last team meeting, we discussed this for a while and calculated that the demo currently available only covers about 5% of the entire story that will be present in the final game. Development is definitely still continuing, and will not stop until the game is finished barring unforseen circumstances.

Is there any way we can help make sure that development keeps trucking along? A Patreon, or offering assistance with resource gathering, spreading the news to other communities to help find voice actors, or something like that?
To make it clear I'm happy to wait as long as it takes, even if it's 2 years or something, I just want to help keep it going if I can.

Take as long as you need. I've still never truly beaten SR (gotten all the endings, bonus dungeons etc). That in itself feels insane. It'll be out when its out. If it means waiting even longer for a game that's a polished experience, then why not. I'd kill to have more RPG type games like this, if that is what you could call this.

We're not. The Japanese version hasn't been released, either... and because there won't be separate versions? The translation will likely be patched and improved on even post release, ideally, until the game itself is done being updated.

Meh, sound design is as bad as it was before. But as I don't get overexcited by a great trailer, I also don't get over disappointed by a bad one. So we will see.

the sounds have improbed since the demo, and even if i like the japanese language, hearing it translated is definitely an excellent thing.

Easy there. lol Everyone has different taste in sound design. Some people like mor hollywood esc sounds, and unfortunately, you won't find them here, or likely in any other Japanese games. Sounds will be either intentionally exaggerated, intentionally old sounding for a retro feel, or a combination of both.

This is an almost SNES style RPG, so sounds are going to be retro. Not everyone is going to like it, and I get that. That being said, calling it bad is incredibly rude no matter how you look at it lol. It's one thing to say it about a game with no thought behind it, quite another to say it about one that's been worked on for so long.
