This may sound like a very stupid question, but what is the soundtrack for a heroes call?
I've seen it mentioned a few times several months ago but today I tried to dig it up but I wasn't able to.

You can buy it at various places. I did and it's actually really nice.

Um but what is it?

It's all of the music that's in the game that you can buy digitally.  Believe you can stream it on spotify as well.

Hi keithwipf1,

In case you need more information than you've been given: about three weeks ago, Out of Sight Games released a new accessible first-person fantasy RPG called A Hero's Call. However, some time before that, we released the soundtrack, featuring all of the music for the game, which is an original orchestral score composed specifically for the game. Hope that clarifies things!

Edit: I wrote the post not realizing you were an AHC player. In that case all you really need to know is that the soundtrack is the full game score—all the music you hear while playing. You can get it on iTunes, Google Play, Amazon, Spotify, Apple Music, etc. Hope that helps.

I tried to find this on Amazon and couldn't find it anywhere, so I gave up and bought it through a place called something like Band Camp, which I believe was linked to from the Out of Sight or A Hero's Call web site.

Yeah bandcamp is a good way to buy DRM free music, but the iOS app isn't very accessible. I can confirm it is possible to stream on Spotify, I did buy it on iTunes.

If I understand you correctly you are saying that Band Camp has an iOS app and that it's not very accessible. Fortunately, you don't have to use the app to buy from them, I was able to purchase and download my music with my Windows PC and it was all very accessible.

I bought it from a website called CD Baby or something and was able to obtain the file as a compressed archive of mp3's.

Yeah the app is not, and I know I could have bought it on the PC but I wanted it on my phone and I despise iTunes

Yeah, Band Camp delivered my soundtrack mp3s in a zip file too, easy peasy.

You aren't the only one! I was ever so happy when I abandoned my iPod for a Victor Reader Stream and could get rid of that shiny turd Apple calls iTunes for Windows!

Thanks for the help.
I guess if I want it I still have to buy it even though I got AHC tongue.

Yup, I had to buy the soundtrack myself even though I had also purchased the game. That's pretty much the standard unless you buy a bundle that includes both the game and the soundtrack, and even then you are paying for each item.
