Yeah, but as far as I know, tnc is like super dead.
I don't know that it's being developed anymore, because it's really dead.

it's not that dead, development is super slow, plus the documentation is lacking. there are still some players around. that mud has potential but yeah.

yes, this mud is dead. Which is why people were wondering, if there are similar games to this one.
Also... 5 to 10 is pretty close on the dead side. Beyond that though, I briefly connected yesterday and created a char. But the help files are absolutely laughable and nonexistent. So yeah, cool concept, but it obviously needs work. But with development slowing down to a crawl's pace, I don't think I'll see that anytime soon. Especially given the help files are in the exact same state as they were when I used to play several years ago.

I agree, I hope someone makes something like this. I would have loved to play this game. The only modern mud I know of is The-night.com and as has been stated previously, it's pretty much dead and development is at a crawl if existent at all.

As of six months ago, i know The Night Mud was still trying to expand and develop. But i'd love to see more modern day Muds.
There is also a new one called Silent Heaven. It's a paranormal mystery, but I don't have connection info off the top of my head.

I might look into silent heaven. THe name alone is intriguing. The-night has a long way to go but I hope they are able to expand and develop. One of the first things they need to do, as already stated, is cvastly improve and update their help system because it's so lacking it's almost funny except not. If they could really put in the work and get that game up and running, I might love to play there again, but as it stands right now, it's just very underwhelming. Thank you for the tip on Silent Heaven. I will see if I can find connection info.

I met my x husband on tnc, then they did not like that e played by the books with an admin char so they celled ad banned him. yeah no. I have been there off and on since. ead as a doornail that one. lets see what google gives me on silent heaven for yall. I found nothing on mudverse but if i run across it in my searches i will let you know. but from the looks of things a mud i thought was gone forever is back chaos. its got an ip for a host so yeah. lets see what I get. I use vipmud for most things unless its got a soundpack.
