I don't think it's original xbox compatibility we're talking about, more the xbox1x having games in common with the xbox1, which technically isn't a previous generation of consoles. Regarding fighting game news, there right now is only Dragon BallFighter Z, which I'm very curious about. There hasn't been anything close to a 2d fighting game sine Super Butouden on the Snes. Can't really say anything else interests me right now, though.

on this year of E3, I'm looking forward to the new life is strange game, as well as other titles like the expansion for uncharted and dishonored, the new spiderman sounds great too, and the new sonic games, namely sonic mania and sonic forces.
for the soni confrence, now they are revealing a new gameplay demo for the new god of war, detroit: become human, spiderman, a story trailer for uncharted: the lost legacy, a remastered version of shadow of the colossus, new characters for everybody's golf, and more will come soon.

Courtesy of Rukari from Iron Galaxy, I can tell you that the Killer Instinct Eagle Trailer will be a part of the Xbox Daily Show on Wednesday at 12:30 US time (that's 22:30 for those in the U.K), but it'll be on youtube as soon as possible after that.

I look forward to just seeing what comes out, regardless of playability.  Sea of Thieves definitely looks interesting and Artful Escape sounds like a unique concept.

The One X, on the surface of it, looks like a smaller narrower One S.  The ports are raised towards the top of the console, with a small nub sticking out to mark the HDMI out port.  The controllers have the textured grips of the One S controllers, which I'm personally a fan of.  Now looking to see how many games take advantage ofthe atmos support for games.  Gears will definitely do that, but we'll see where other games take it and how headset manufacturers support it as well.

@Assault: I don't believe I'm saying this, but we're talking about original xbox compatability now. The crowd went absolutely nuts when they announced it, and for me, I had no idea it was coming and my jaw nearly fell onto the floor. They have announced that one of the first games to take advantage of this, will be Chrimson Skies, and more info will be given later this year. If they bring Midway Arcade Treasures back, I am absolutely down for this. Also, what was that midway fighting game called they released as well? Lotus fist or something like that? Released a long time ago. Also what other games could we be talking about here when this happens?
Oh, and marvel vs capcom infinite got a new story trailer.

Playable games announced:
Dragonball Fighter Z. I think this game is typed as DragonBall FighterZ with no space. This is a 2d, four-button dragonball fighter from the creators of Blazblu and Guilty Gear, with assists and supers. It will definitely be available on the xbox one and ps4, and possibly pc too!
Marvel Vs Capcom Infinite gets a new story trailer and some new character announcements, including marvel villain Thanos, and heroes Gamora, Rocket Raccoon from Guardians of the Galaxy. Rocket can also call on the creature known as Groot to help him. There is also  lot of returning characters from ultimate marvel vs capcom 3, such as Nova and Spensor. There is also a playable story demo available for everyone to download on both ps4 and xbox one. The combo system is really quite exxciting in this game.
Killer Instinct gets a new character trailer for someone called Eagle, who is an archer-type character who can fire arrows, either as singles or as a flurry of three. His release date is late June, around June 27 or 28.
Also, thanks to post 4 for the heads up here. Blade Strangers is another fighting game that's coming for ps4 and pc. It will feature characters from some indie games. I don't have any more info onit at the moment, but thanks @ThePlayer, I will look into it.

I'm also interested to see the new dragon ball fighter game, hope that the game will have a story mode like in tenkaichi 3, I mean it only just scenes and fights, no walking around and stuff.
I'm also interested to see detroit become human, it's an interactive movie from the same guys who developed heavy rain and beyond: two souls.

I miss the butouden games on snes, actually... they were actually similar in playstyle with 2d gameplay. this will probably be the closest game to those in the modern era minus the tag system of course, which is new.

NT looks good, but it looks like another brawler like the recent one piece burning blood or J Stars Victory VS, not a tag based game. But I'll definitely be keeping my eyes on this one. Looks and sounds great, so far.

Yep. It's definitely good tosee a dbz game that's not a raging blast or budokai clone. We've had too many of those. lol
