Yes, a new mud. I can hear the sighs of you all now. But wait. Don't click the back button yet, at least hear me out first?
Myself and a few others are working on a mud, that as far as I'm aware, has never been done before. We're working on an urban fantasy mud. If you do not know what urban fantasy is, allow wikipedia to answer all of your questions.
Now, with that out of the way, I need some help. THe world that we'd like to build is absolutely massive, and we right now only have 6 people working on it. We're almost done the first town, but we really need help. We are using the TBA codebase, and if you have never used it before, it is the easiest thing to get going. THe entire thing is menu based, and the trigger system is seriously easy to learn. You have 556 stock zones in which you can learn anything you could ever want to about the base. I really couldn't code using lambda, ghost core, or deadsouls, and this one I've picked up with no problems whatsoever. Let one of us know that you are from audio games, and you want to help us build, or if you have experience, modifying TBA's code, to be a wizard. That doesn't mean we'll accept anyone who just pops up and thinks that they know something, we want to really know that you're serious about helping us out. I don't want this mud to fall apart like so many others that I've seen. If you don't know TBA, but would still like to help out, tell us, and we can show you the ropes. That's no problem at all. I just don't want this to turn into something with half finished pieces.
