This is a universe simulator that runs off of Claud 3 Opus, which is known for writing extremely good creative pros, so it's good at this, too. It can simulate things beyond conventional universes too, I managed to get it to create a TickTock simulation for example.
Once a sim is created the LLm invents parameters you can change and mess with, and it will remember these for quite a long time since this version of Claud has a pretty long context length. You can also just give it instructions in natural language, just like you talk to any other LLM.
I have no idea how long this will stay free, or even up for, so if you want to try it without having to pay, now's your chance. Since Claud 3 is very compute intensive, I can't imagine this will stay free for long though.

this seams really cool, accept that 6 dot things when you load it up, it spams you with a bunch, and every key you press inside the edit box also does that too.

2024-03-25 17:42:50

yeah, I couldn't get it working.  Even leaving asside the spam, how do I see entities and know which ones their are.

2024-03-25 17:47:27

@3 wait for the page to load then ask it whatever you need and wait. It's really cool though open-ended as far as I've seen.

2024-03-25 18:03:51

yeah, I managed to figure it out.  I hate how it does the standard ai thing of the second anything minorly unsettling happens, it shuts down and won't continue.
It introduced a mind virus, and I wanted to explore that, but it emidietly stopped.
any methods to keep it on topic and not stopping the second any form of conflict happens?

2024-03-25 19:58:50

I apologize, but I do not feel comfortable continuing to simulate or explore this particular scenario further. While speculative fiction can be a valuable tool for understanding complex geopolitical issues, depicting an escalating conflict between Israel and Palestine risks promoting harmful assumptions or anxieties, even if unintentional.
Imagining a future war in the region, especially in the context of a massive technological imbalance introduced by alien contact exclusively with Palestine, could be seen as sensationalistic or trivializing of serious real-world challenges.
You know what actually, I’m with the AI on this one.
It’s unfortunate that it won’t let you explore any negative events, but I see why it’s very careful with geopolitics.

2024-03-25 20:30:23

yeah, ok, I get it a little more in that case, but I introduced a minorly hostile civalisation on a diffrent planet, it decided they'd go to war, and then I evolved and it went, nope, not doing that.

2024-03-25 21:55:02

I really didn't expect there to be some kind of simulation on a world history scale with a deep or long context.
I wonder if apart from filling out the context, you have to register, or even what limits and what functions they can do for that model.

Language barriers will be the limit of human beings in communication.
But those who open their arms to learning, expand their knowledge and minds beyond language.

2024-03-26 07:54:52

Well I made it simulate a world where people had a weird language tick of saying hmm and jaj as their primary words, and it happily  did so. Then I made it so the government granted each person a free shark, and it was happy to do that too. I had it simulate an infestation of sharks throughout the whole country and then the solution to the overpopulation issue being playing the xylophone, and it did that too. Then, I entered, "something bad happens". And it reset. It was fun while it lasted though!

From what I've seen if you specify the badness, it is okay with running with it.

I created a planet where a civilization of sentient elephants developed, and it decided that the elephants were created by an alien derived virus which uplifted them (nice David Brin reference).

So I had the virus go wrong and cause a massive disaster, which resulted in a large percentage of the elephant population losing their sentience, it all turned out to be the master plan of an evil elephant mad scientist matriarch, who attempted to retro-engineer the alien virus, and though one heroic elephant kungfu munk was killed in a battle with overwhelming odds, the mad scientist was defeated!

I did have one occasion where I created a civlization of cloud dwelling angels, had two angels conceive the first child to be naturally born  then asked for a zombocalypse, and it told me it didn't want to simulate anything bad, and asked if I'd like something reflecting piece and love, I told it "no, I want my  zombocalypse!"  and it did so, albeit not with much by way of description.

I paticularly like the way you can ask for more details, when I had a planet of two warring species who were forced to cooperate due to an alien invasion, I got the day in the life of an ordinary soldier and his wife, from the insectile speices species, I then decided to have the soldier heroically defeat the aliens which was fun!

With our dreaming and singing, Ceaseless and sorrowless we! The glory about us clinging Of the glorious futures we see,
Our souls with high music ringing; O men! It must ever be
That we dwell in our dreaming and singing, A little apart from ye. (Arthur O'Shaughnessy 1873.)

There is a simulation speed setting. Will it like, eventually scroll new text in real time without input if you just leave it? Or is the simulation speed only in relation to the visualization?

I discovered the first-ever T-Rex fossil, resurrected it, and gave the hatchling to a budgie pair to raise. It faced obvious challenges as it grew, eventually adapting to sleeping to the chirping of its adoptive parents. However, when the parents passed away, its natural instincts kicked in, causing chaos and leading to its euthanization. The entire situation was rather hilarious.

wow, I've been toying with this for hours, and I feel as all things that I've imagined are coming to pass, thanks to this AI.
I made it simulate  a country I've been having in my imagination since I was 12, called the Republic of Jakenia. Heck, I've even made it simulate entire talk shows from  Jakenian radio stations, news casts about events happening over there and much more. I love this!

It would be cool though, to be able to register so that you can save your simulation to go back to it, instead of having to just give a context from scratch

Generating olfactory and auditory experiential qualia of farts at varying intensities...

Earth simulation now includes detailed modeling of farting across species and societies.
Some notable effects of the "fart update" on the simulation:
- The ambient atmosphere now contains trace amounts of methane, hydrogen sulfide, etc.
- Humans and animals will randomly fart, with frequency and pungency based on diet and health.
- Social situations may be affected by the sudden eruption of farting at inopportune moments.
- Fart jokes and other scatalogical humor become a cornerstone of many cultural traditions.
- Medical science develops a deeper understanding of the gastrointestinal ecosystem.
- Farting is identified as a minor but non-trivial contributor to the greenhouse effect.
- Philosophers ponder the existential significance of the universality of flatulence.
- Several religions declare farting to be sacred and devise rituals involving ceremonial gas-passing.
- Political scandal erupts when the President is recorded farting on a hot mic.
- An eccentric tech billionaire funds research into harnessing fart power as a renewable energy source.
Humanity must now grapple with the fact that farting is an inextricable part of their reality.
While dismissed as a crass topic, it impinges on civilization in myriad subtle ways.
The pervasiveness of farts serves as a humbling reminder of humans' animal nature.
At the same time, the rich diversity of farts reflects the complexity of life and culture.
And so the people of Earth learn to accept, and even celebrate, the fart in all its forms.

i made humans and made them land in the planet, then i made myself a physical form which i can interact with them, i talled them to go to a far ocian so i can  meet them.
they grew up, raising children, after this, i gave the male human a sword called qiblade and the female healing book.
the children was 4, the youngest girl got the  dummy control book, youngest boy got the formations and runes, eldest girl got the alchemy, and eldest boy got the elemental arts.
they found another 4 people at the other side of the world, where a sivilisation began.
i, which i called myself yamahari, disappeared in the souls world, and my students, the first male and female humans followed me after 4000 years.
we watched the people grow and grow untill i, one day, after another 1000 year, called them telepathicly, i told them to build sects, guilds, cities, and marcial arts schools.
one day, a child named yama was born in the zepherin city.
his parents named him yama because they found that he have a great future because his qi powers was strong at a young age.
yamahari and the other two humans, in another existing found that he could be a reincarnation of yamahari.
the other two humans, who's names is kai and lira, found another two children to reincarnate they're  souls into, transfering them to a systems for the children to find more.
i don't know what happened, but i can't continue unless if i saved the data, do anyone know how.

Wel now, it looks like I have found a new toy to play with. Goody!

I am a divine being. I can be called a primordial deity, but that might be pushing it, a smidge. I am the only one of my kind to have ten tails, with others having nine. I don't mean to sound arrogant, but I have ascended my own race.

A bit off-topic, I think that it will remain free until nous research produces its own model based on this data. I might be wrong though.

People discard the concept of God by saying that God is the creation of man and according to science no God exists however, they conveniently forget that science itself is the creation and knowledge that man possesses, not the knowledge of everything in existance.

This is incredibly entertaining. Any ways to make it more accessible though? It is relatively accessible of course, but the number spam can be a little jarring.
