Hey guys!
When using calling apps, such as Discord and Google Meet, I cannot reduce the call volume.
A global volume control appears, called call volume for edifier 800 BT plus, which is my bluetooth headset that I'm using
If I make any changes, it changes the screen reader volume too.  I tested with jieshuo and TalkBack.  Jieshuo is even available in accessibility mode and in media mode.
Even if I leave the accessibility volume at 100%, nothing happens, it's as if it only respected this global volume.
I'm running a galaxy s23 with Android 14.
What to do?

I have the same issue, and unfortunately, there's not a whole lot you can do about it. Maybe try submitting feedback for the 2 screen readers?

I don't know why the screen readers have independent volume settings without a connected blue tooth headset, but when you connect them you lose that control. It bothers me too, but with everything going on in life lately I simply do not have the time to submit feedback to them about it.

You just go into settings, about, software info, build number 7 times for dev mode, go back after you put your pin in and disable absolute volume from developer options.
It should work straight away, if not, restart your phone.

I am myself and noone is ever gonna change me, I am the trolling master!
