Well, this is going to be a topic about my recovery at home.
Keep in mind I had surgery on Friday, Jan 20, 2011.
The procedure took about 4 hours.
I had my gall blatter removed lapriscopically.
Well, when I woke up, it reaaaalllyyyyyy hurt like hell.
Lol.
Saturday.
I was still the same, but That night, me and a few nurses decided it was time to get on my feet.
So, Painfully, I got out of the (rock solid) bed and took a trip to the rest room.
Sunday morning. Things looked far better.
Me and me mother were able to walk the entire downstairs area of the hospital where I was admitted.
It wasn't half bad.
That night, as well, two things happened.
First, I was able to eat solid food.
Then, After seeing me eat about half of a subway pizza, the nurses decided it was time to go.
So, they discharged me, and Me and my mom stayed in a nice hotel.
Sunday night I had a nice burger and some fruit punch, with onion rings.
I was able to eat the vast majority of it.
Monday morning.
It didn't start out too good.
I didn't eat all of my breakfast, I was in a lot of pain, and I was still full from last night's dinner.
So I went back to the hotel to get some rest, but ended up playing BD.
After that I did get some rest.
Monday afternoon.
I felt better after having my pain meds, so I decided to take my mom out to a place called Olive garden.
It's a very nice lovely place.
Hint hint. To young lovers here in the US and maybe in other countries, that's the place to take her or him for dinner.
Lol.
I ordered myself a cheese ravioli and some bread.
Munch munch munch!
It all went down the hatch.
Lol.
Tuesday Morning was perfect.
I was able to wake up with almost no pain, had another cheese ravioli, and pain meds.
I got a 2 hour nap after that and played some more bd.
Tuesday night me and mom decided to call it home and we packed our bags, but didn't leave.
We stayed another night.
Wednesday.
I'm finally home and ready to get back to my normal life, well just about.
This pain medicine really gets you sleepy as hell!
Lol. Other than that, I'm only in a bit of pain.
It's most notable when I stand up quicly, or when I've been in one position for too long.
Tomorrow I plan to go back to school.
I will edit this first post as the days go by until I feel I no longer need to do so.
Have a nice day everyone and thanks for reading!

Wow Omar, I'm glad that's over with.  It sounds like your first few days were pretty rough, but I hope the rest of your recovery goes well!
