@600 same here. Back to pokemon things, you should try the pokemon jell++ rom hack, it's based on the yellow version, it looks cool.

slightly oot, ys? is that the one that uses body bumping system? what I mean is if you want to hit your enemy, you have to bump the enemy on the right position although I remember that one is only for ys 1.

Would it be possible to make a python script that would allow GBA support?
MGBA may support lua and python scripting in the next release. I can gladly help make this work on the GBA, but I can not do it alone, cause I am a very, very early programmer, so I will need advise.
I am still interested in playing Perfect Blue with these scripts.
If anyone would care to walk me through this, I'd be grateful. I pretty much stopped playing around with these scripts at all when I got sick of being told that the game I wanted to play wasn't supported. I've been using Tyler's scripts to play TPP Anniversary Crystal with, as I say, minimal difficulty and garbage. I am not appreciating this seemingly unnecessary impediment, as Blue was the game I grew up on, and the game I want to go back to most of all.
i cant remember how, but this script has the ability to try and make a game work, if you know what language and version it is based on
yeah, you press shift +h if I remember correctly.
Check out the readme for this.
hi.
I have a question.
spoilers.
I have released the legendary pokimon and captured the water one in the tin tower.
now I want to catch Raikou and Entei.
can I find them with j and l?
They're unfortunately roaming.
The pokedex tracker that is supposed to track them down is inaccessible, like the unown mode.
The only thing you can do is wander through a certain road, if it doesn't appear for a long time, go to a different one.
Remember though that if you move to another location, like a city or, as said above, a different road, the legendary pokemon will move somewhere else as well.
I also strongly recommend having someone with mean look as the first monster in your party, when you finally find the legendary monster, use this move immediately.
If you don't, it'll flee and you'll need to look for it again.
thanks.
if I am on a route and 1 of them is on it can I find it with j or l?
Ofcourse not, but there's another hint.
These legendaries only wander around Johto and never go to the sea roads 40, 41 and Cianwood.
So if a mythical is at Oligine, it'll surely move to road 39 when you go to another location.
Remember also to bring someone with mean look and use that move during the battle's first turn, otherwise you'll not be able to catch any mythical because they'll just flee the battle and move somewhere else.
edit.
never mind. found it.
thanks. one more question.
spoilers.
I am stuck in route 10.
I can't get to the powerplant so that I can restore power. do you know how can I get to it?
AFAIK you need to reach the Power Plant by accessing through the north way of the route 9. There is water in the north, you need to surf to the east and then to the south.
which are the playable pokemons so far?

Man this would be so cool if it happened. This runs on so many platforms.
@serrebi It's in the rode map for next release, so I'm hoping it will be added.

Lua support for mGBA has been planned for years now. However, I'm checking the source code almost every day or week, and at the momment there isn't nothing regarding lua support.
I've only found a card on GitHub saying that they're looking wether adding support for Lua 5.3 or LuaJit. Let's hope they choose the later, because these scripts are developed using LuaJit, and porting them to lua 5.3 or developing new ones for GBA in Lua 5.3 would be very tedious, if not impossible.
well, I guess a little discord talk on the server could help on that I guess.
I will ask him about it.
HI.
614.
POKEMON RED, BLUE, YELLOW, GOLD, SILVER AND CRYSTTAL.
NOT SHURE IF THERE ARE MORE.
ALSO.
TODAY SOMETHING WEARD HAPPEND.
I was searching for those dam legendaries and I captured one with the master ball.
but then nvda stopped reading everything and it replaced my save with an older one.
has this happend to anyone?
I'm talking to the dev now about LuaJit. Hopefully it's possible.
The dev told me that LuaJit would make for harder portability, but Lua is something he will add in the future, he's still debating on what it should be, but I told him that as a blind person, from our perspective LuaJit would be nicer to have.
@621 not very ethical to lie about that version of lua being better for blind people. It just makes porting these scripts less effort, but there is nothing inherent between the two versions of lua that make one better for blind people.
@Dragonlee I actually thought it wouldn't work on normal lua, sorry for making that statement.
unless I am missing something... do the tolk lua bindings not work for lua 5?
Luajit would be much better for accessibility. The tolk bindings don’t work on regular Lua 5 because it doesn’t have FFI - which is a allows luajit to talk to C libraries like Tolk or other speech systems like on mac. If an emulator provided just regular LUA, then you’d either have to convince the developer to write his own speech functions and expose them to the scripting runtime, or find some other way to get the speech out like calling a command line app to speak something which would be less efficiant and give you less control over the speech.
