So. With a new edition to the Resident Evil franchise, Village, coming may seventh this year, are there any news and or updates regarding accessibility so far?
According to what I've read, Village uses the same engine as R E 7, so I'm guessing we should theoretically be able to play it.
I haven't played R E 7 myself, but from what I've heard it's playable with enough patience. I'm considering buying it to try it out.

Hi.

I highly doubt there will be news on making resident evil village accessible, it would be nice but I'd not get your hopes up.

I'm gone for real :)

Exactly. Pretty sure it'll be the same as re7 when it comes to navigation and such. Unlike what some people think, what helped with navigation in Resident Evil 7 was the fact that the maps/areas were pretty small and even though you had to backtrack a few times, it was very doable with some patience. Dealing with the camera having to point at items/interactables is tedious, but manageable. I just know that I'm not buying village if it only gives us a 10 hour story like re7 does. Not worth the money.

Also RE 8 bring back the crafting from RE 4. It'll be difficult to play. When isnt accessible.

Hi.

You don't think a 10 hour story is worth it? I keep forgetting there's those out there who play mainstream games, 10 hours sounds amazing to me.

Well, there's simply no replayability for RE7 whatsoever, and other modes are not playable for us. So once you complete the game there's pretty much nothing else to do.
At 4 I highly doubt the game will be accessible, however the crafting and inventory management are the least of my concerns. OCR works really well with RE7 so I don't see why it wouldn't be the same for the upcoming Resident evil.

Yeah. I'm not getting my hopes up either, just curious. Also what about the R E 7 dlcs? Can we play those?

No

having watched a demo on village there is a pizzle right at the beginning i doubt that it'll be playable .

Oh yeah the puzzles. Fuck, that probably won't be very doable I'm guessing. I guess we'll just have to wait and see when it comes out.
Accessibility aside, I think it's gonna be a cool game in terms of story.
I like the new theme they've got going on lol.

i preordered the deluxe edition of re 8 so... lets see when it comes out, but i don't expect any (intentional) accessibility features.

Hi.
If Resident Evil Village could give 10 hours of playable experience, then I would get it for sure.
The camera in Resident Evil 7 is too much an issue for me, so I have taken a long break from the game. I'm not sure if I'll come back to it in the future.
Resident Evil Village seems to be the same inventory system and the same movement system like Resident Evil 7. Out from what I have read so far, it might be more puzzle based, which means less playable for us. It also seems like more items are required to progress in the game.
For me, it sounds like there are less audio which guides us, or which we can use to get an idea about where we are in the game. They also mention a village covered in snow, which might make it more difficult to hear where you're walking.
However, on the positive site, maybe 3D audio on the Playstation 5 can make the game more playable.
Here is a link to some information about the game:

Here is a link to a walkthrough of the demo version. I don't know if the demo version has been released to the public:

Here is a link to a playthrough of the demo version:

The release date is the 7th of May.
That's all the information I've been able to find so far.

Here is a great playthrough of the demo with some commentary:

There is a ps5 demo which is essentially a visual showcase with the promise of an actual combat demo to come.

The second demo coming this spring is gonna be available for all other platforms as far as I know.
