I play the vale with an xbox 360 controller via USB, that has duel rumble motors. so I get the full experience. cause for this game, the keyboard seems over looked by this point, though hopefully they fix that, and playing with a controller is a lot more interesting in my opinion.

I found my controller on amazon. just search for xbox 360 USB controller with rumble motors or something.

Xbox360 controller would do the job. People recommend the Xbox one controller as well.

So, are you still monitoring this topic? Because if so I would have expected a response about the .dll problem/solution by now...
I apologize for the harshness, but ghosting has been a problem with Falling Squirrel Games PR in the past with these demos, and although I realize there's allot of chaff and negativity to sort through, I really don't want the feedback to go unseen before final release.
I haven't seen anything from you in the last 127 posts so that's why I wanted to make sure.

I'm wandering as well why Falling Squal games haven't posted anything about the .dll issue yet. I could get it to work if I wanted to, but this is not easy for everyone. It should be quite easy for the company to fix the issue so people can play their demo. I have contact to people who are interested in playing the game, but they are not able to fix the dll issue on their own.

@SLJ I see no issue with the dll, all you really have to do is edit the file name. not that hard.

Otherwise, since they don't appear to care about this thread much any more, it's going to get lost. Important stuff like the DLL and uncle killing problems should definitely be reported.

@defender, I do believe they do pay attention to itch.io very much, since someone reported a bug with controller /keyboard output being wrong and they said they'd fix it up before release. as in the game giving them controller rather than keyboard output and they asked for a chooser when you load the game. and they said they'd look into this. I also on itch have reported magic not working for keyboard but working for controller issue. haven't gotten a response yet though.

You see no issue, because you are able to get the file, copy it and then rename it to make it work. I can do that as well, but this is not easy for everyone. The game is ment to just work after being installed.

@SLJ, There is no need to copy anything. You simply go to TheValeData\plugins and renaming the XInputInterface.dll to XInputInterface64.dll
And you can even shortcut this by pressing f2 after you find the XInputInterface.dll to instantly go to the renameing edit box.
