Hi community,
I'm noticing when I copy text directly from programs such as the Microsoft Office suite to Notepad 2, some symbols are different. For example, I'll type alt+10003 for a tick symbol, but I'll get a different result in Notepad 2. I know that 10003 is the character code for the tick symbol, but I get ? in Notepad 2, and ‼ in Firefox.
So my question is, why the inconsistency and how can I fix that?
