Basically the subject says it all.
I'm just not a fan of the windows voices and want something that sounds nice and crisp (think things like Ivona).

Hi.
Oh no, sam and anna sound as heck this years. I personally use Microsoft eva or mark in english, and ana in combination with pablo in spanish.
As for ivona, I go with geraint and amy in english, and conchita and enrique in spanish. They rock!
I have none! And I'm a sad sad man because of it, particularly when I use komplete kontrol! Waaaaaaaaaa!
i like using both eva and taric vocaliser voice on sapi5, i'd love to use ATT but that thing doesn't run smoothly on windows 10
at post 2 i'd run away from these 2 voices if i were to use them for something else rather then text speach skits
Actually you can, but it's... a shady thing the way you get them.
You can also buy the IVONA voices from Harpo Software.
To add to the topic, I usually use Microsoft Mike or Microsoft Mary.
I use Windows 1 core voices and particularly microsoft Mark. I do have sapi 5 voices, i just feel that they are very slow in responsiveness field. Microsoft Cathrin is good too.
I use microsoft mark on sapi5
I generally use Eloquence in combination with Daniel, but for reading books I tend to use something calmer; so Ivona Bryan or Amy UK work really well. I just wish Amy wasn't so sad and sleepy. It seems to me as if that voice is particularly made for reading romance stories.
@11, what is Microsoft Cathrin? I've never heard of that one.
I use Microsoft Richard
@14 I think it's some English Australia voice.
@Nocturnus, Catharine is a microsoft's voice that part of the Windows one core voices in Windows 10.
Thanks to 14 and 19... I seriously have never heard of these. I'm sadly with the minority here who believes SAPI voices are generally far to expensive for me to invest in them. I bought the codefactory thing for NVDA mostly because I wanted eloquence, but good SAPI voices I cannot justify. I hate This default David voice in win 10, but it'll have to do for now.
especially ATT voices
Hi.
I use IBM eloquence, I don't think anything will beat it in terms of spead and the ability to be understood.
The windows 10 core voices are ok but I just can't get the hang of them when reading.
