i created this simple thing under 3 hours, maybe 4 in total if we count all the sound designing assets as well in ruffly 2 days
here is 20 minutes of gameplay
i demonstrated the following stuff
creating complex abilitiex
complex structrials such as vehicles
and a little quest sort of thing, not like a plot quest but in the end someone joins yourparty

this is cool, btw, how did you added your sounds to it? do you have to put them with the same names as existing sounds or do the game knows them and sho's them in the lists?

Don't think you can actually drive the vehicles, but it's a cool way to transition to maps.

@Meatbag, When you add new sounds to Sable's sound folders, the game engine will recognise the change and show you the sounds directly in the editor. Add as many as you like!

If you for whatever reason wish to contact me, the best way to do so is through Discord (@Minionslayer0). You'll get the quickest response times, and by extension, a higher priority. I also sometimes post my thoughts (for the better or worse) over on Mastodon at @Minionslayer.

i beleave you can make your own, yes. and i would like to be able to play it as well. Maybe when the final version of sable comes out you can keep working on it and we could have a nice little zombie rpg?

That is a truely spectacular display of what this engine is capable of as well as how much potential it has. This was amazing. Good job. Also I seem to recall that music playing in the boss battle as well as the driving scene "we'll spair your lives, just walk away" big_smile

Wow. I loved the demo of The Road to Unknown. It's very very well done. For as quick of a time that it took for you to make this demo with as much as it has in it. You've done an awesome job. I'd love to see more. I hope you might make that something we all could play when Sable comes out fully.

i was normaly going to  make this to demonstrate some of the features of sable but it changed with the new contest
i'M not going to give up about this project after the contest is finished regardless of this project wins or not
normaly i was going to do this by my own but since everyone is bored and stuck at home, i wanted to involve everyone taht want to help  in a way
you can do following if you want to help
1, contribute ideaas
2, record voicelines for various characters
3, write up sidequests, max 5 in total

@ Omer, just  stumbled across this and watched the video, this was awesome, I’m really impressed with everything you managed to create in such a short time. There were some great sounds in your project,  I particularly liked the summoning a German Shepard dog ability you used in battle, I also really liked the bit with the car. The fact when you first got their it wouldn’t start and you needed to go find the tank of gas before you could start the car was a really nice touch and some very clever use of the Sable tools. Keep up the great work and again  excellent video.
