My post wasn't satire, @Nocturnus. There's two reasons for that:

1. I thought Jaidon's post was bad, unfunny and not satire, and that's basically what I said.

2. The defenition of satire is "the use of irony, sarcasm, ridicule, or the like, in exposing, denouncing, or deriding vice, folly, etc." I don't see how my post, or the OP for that matter, could qualify.

Jaidon, I'll have to agree with Arjan here; even if your posts were funny (they aren't), too many of them in a row get annoying. Doesn't matter if it's broccoli or chocolate; both of them taste like shit if you eat them every day for a while.

Good things take time to make, you know? So take some time to compose a really funny post. Something thoughtful that can get the point accross. Something that doesn't just seem like the scribbles of a child proud that they know all these grown-up words. And, most importantly, something that has been proofread. Please proofread, proofreading is wonderful!

Read many books, learn to write well in general, and perhaps you'll figure it out. Remember though, that not everyone can write satire. I sure can't! Different people have different talents. So if you fail at this, don't worry, I'm sure you'll find something else you're good at. Petting puppies, perhaps?
