Hi.
So I've been using the forum for just over a year now, and I was wondering one thing. What is the purpose of having things like Shades of Newbie, Galaxy Stranger, and all the other ranks? Do these serve any purpose? Do they say anything about the posters? Or is it just a thing they do? Thanks

You've said you've been on this forum for like maybe a year now? And I know, the site and forum FAQ is a long thing to read, people would probably get bored reading it. But as a forum member, you should read to get a better understanding of the forum. I've read them myself. That's why I tell you to do the same thing.
Also, like a couple posts above said, this topic have been asked a few days ago in the site and forum feedback. You should have check it, or do a bit of research before bringing a new topic to the discussion.
