So with EA's accessibility team acknowledging nothing on fifa's accessibility, i went and googled and found this:

In that page, one of the accessibility items mentioned is this:
NARRATION
When enabled, narration will read aloud highlighted tile, menu, or pop-up.
Options: On; Off
This is going to be some good news finally for us fifa fans!
I will be curious to see how deep that runs. I have a bad feeling it's going to be how NHL is doing it which is just the main menu and a few sub menus. It's a great start though.

Well, a great start it is, but how will this help us gameplay wise? Wouldn't it be a better idea to firstly focus on the gameplay and then start with talking menus?

I'm not sure how NHL is played Liam, but in fifa the team manager is the most important UI of the game, in there you can swap your players in an out, change your formation, and change your team and player tactics and some more. I do hope that the narration include the team manager.
Remember that the menus have to be done due to the 20th century video communications thingy. Right now we're seeing compliance and not so much accessibility for the sake of accessibility.
I am kind of with 3 here. No point if it's mostly menu narration with no game play help. That said, I'm hoping to be pleasantly surprised.
As I tweeted to the accessible team from EA. it is pointless focusing on menu narration first when the game is totally on accessible when it comes to playing with no tactical feedback or sound separation.
it is very unfortunate as it would only take a couple of tweaks to make it fully accessible which is very saddening.
if anybody can find out if they have a accessible team at all I would love to speak to them to to offer my help for free just to make the game accessible even a little bit. It's sad to hear the most popular sports in the world that is played and watch is not accessible.

It's the same with the WWE games. they used to be incredibly playable, and all it'd need is a couple of vibrational queues in key areas like the pin meter and reversal timing to be doable once again
good news. Looks like Fifa 20 has text to speech narration. I'm running the demo and I got that option toggled on. this might be really nice. Not sure if they've added any gameplay stuff yet, but here's hoping.
Update.
it appears to only be talking inside certain menus, but... this is the demo, so I imagine the full version won't have this limitation.
it might also just not read everything which would be super sad.
liam, does it read the team manager at all?
there's nothing like that in the demo. I'm not sure when the free trial comes out, I'll know more then.

It's a pretty simple demo. also barely anything talks right now. but it shows that they're adding the technology to it so I imagine when the trial drops which I assume will be next Friday then we'll know for sure.
I will be doing another video of the accessibility features. I also did one for NHL wich is on this forum.
after grappling with origin on pc, which is extremely horrible for accessibility, i finally installed fifa 20 demo..............
to realize that all the accessibility options are there for PC, except narration.

With the Fifa trial now out, I've been spending a bit of time with it, and I'm disappointed to say that fifa does not have fully narrated menus like Madden. You have access to the top level content though the live tiles literally just says "live tile.". Very few sub menus seem to be voiced at all. I'm still poking through the menus, but this will not be the year for a fully narrated experience.
I've got high hopes for next year though.
I'd like to write an addendum to my previous post.
It seems that not all features of the full version are up yet. For instance Play now doesn't seem to be a thing yet. I had read in a couple of places that the trial may not have all the functionality, so I'm going to hold off until the game releases next week.
I doubt the state of narration will change between then and now, but anything is possible. I believe in never saying never.
My heart was broken for this year‘s version of the game just now. Back to trying OCR hmmm.
Or play pes hmmm.
It can be OCR'd, but it's pretty much the same experience as last year. I think next September will be truly excelent for accessibility.
I hope so too my friend, crossing my fingers and hoping some of the suggestions I made are implemented.
Oh when it comes to the hours I would blast on it would be ridiculous Haha. We got a keep hope alive and fight on the good fight for accessibility.
There is a known bug right now where English menu narration is being incorrectly blocked outside of the US. The team is aware but I do not have an ETA for a fix. I'll post on the forums if/when a fix is available.
FIFA spent a lot of time on polish instead of coverage, so the coverage is currently less than Madden. Knowing which missing areas everyone wants the most would help with prioritization.

I noticed this has been the year for polish. NHL 20 for example just feels so much better. I remember that Madden took a few years to get to where it is so I'm patient 
Unfortunately the focus should be on improving the play ability as a blind gamer with tactical feedback and audio cues, as I mentioned in the other topic and broke down with descriptions.
