Hi all,

With devil may cry 5 in the pocket, and me getting Diablo 3 tomorrow as well, i am wondering if there are any ninja gaiden titles out there as well? I prefer to have it on the xbox one And since most games i got are after good reviews from fellow members here, i thought, well, lemme drop the question here

I am looking forward to the replies.

Yes, [Ninja Gaiden Black] and Ninja Gaiden 2 is apparently backwards compatible now.

On the other hand, if were talking about Ninja Gaiden like games, between newer or classic Ninja Gaiden, there's a few ninja'esk titles around right now, such as Sekiro, The Messenger, Bushiden, Moonrider, and some time later this year [Cyber Shadow], most of which other than Sekiro are like classic nintendo Ninja Gaiden.

Granted, most of the games mentioned are questionable in terms of playability.. been keeping my eye on these, too.

The only playable ninja gaiden title is ninja gaiden 3 and maybe yaiba ninja gaiden Z, but i’m not sure if those games are backward compatible with XBOX one.

going in to the wilds, collecting pokedex, and capturing them are my kind of thing,
training them, making them evolve, and generally making them stronger is my ultimate goal,
fighting other manamon tamers, winning the tournament, and fighting octoros are what these manamons like to do,
and ultimately, I become the master of mana!

Hi,

Hmm, it remains a bet i think to try for example ninja gaiden black. When i visit the gamestore tomorrow and the price isn't to ridiculous i probably will take the leap and try it. Unless someone can guaranty it is playable. Cause while i read back my 1st post, it isn't clear, i can imagine, that i asked for them to be playable. Sorry for the confusion

i checked on the internet, and it seems ninja gaiden 3 is backwards compatible, as is ninja gaiden 2. I also saw that the store is selling it for 20 bucks for an used copy, now i am only hoping they have it in stock

I can confirm about the playability of Ninja Gaiden 3, I got through the whole game. Exceptions being golden scarabs and tests of valor if you're playing Razor's Edge, you'd need help for those but they aren't holy necessary to beat the game anyway, the scarabs just unlock some nice bonuses like the lunar staff and piercing void technique.

Ninja gaiden black and Ninja Gaiden 2 are both not playable. At least, not that I've found...

Also if you want you can try yaiba ninja gaiden Z, I think that one is playable as well

Thanks for the replies, i wan'twasn't able to get any playable ninja gaiden games mention by you guys, none of them were in stock ... But I will keep them in mind, and purchase one of them as soon as i get the chance.

But ninja gaiden games are mostly playable cause the navigation is liniar right? You don't have to explore as much as in for example diablo?

Most ninja gaiden titles has some platforming, however it’s doable, for ninja gaiden 3 that is.
For the game I mentioned, try searching it on the Xbox store, I think you’ll find it

Why did you get diablo 3? it's only sort of playable and the map isn't accessible at all? just curious.

I got it cause i quite like games with a challenge. I personally don't mind to much to roam around on a map for some time to find something. And when it gets to confusing, i reload my save. All in all, i must say, that it is a rather difficult game, but very enjoyable still
