I am using Jaws 17 and the latest version of google Chrome.
I like Chrome, but when I open a combo box and arrow down to read the choices, it always thinks I've chosen the next one and closes the combo box.
I have to open it again, and try to arrow down fast enough to read the next of the choices.
Does anyone have advice or tips to fix this?
It's my only problem with Chrome, but it is a real pain in the butt, especially when you're trying to play games with lots of combo boxes.
Thanks for any help anyone can provide. :cool

This can be a really annoying problem. I don't use chrome much. Do you have a specific website this happens on, so I can test if it is still an issue with j2019 to see if it's to do with the older version or not?

It happens on every combo box I encounter.
Try creating a character on popmundo .com
You can stop any time without actually creating one, but that will definitely give you an idea what I go through if you have the same problem.

I went to popmundo and tested it using the lost in translation combo. I tried v2018 and v2019. The problem happens with 2018 but not 2019. It happens with 2019 too if you hit enter on the combo then down arrow, but if you hit alt down to open the menu first, you can arrow around without it automatically navigating. So it looks like you would need to be using 2019.

Thanks so much for testing it out!
I'll see if I can get 2019 soon.
