Heya!
Although I searched the forum before posting, I didn't find this kind of topic, probably because it is buried somewhere deep in the search results. But I really do not feel like browsing through the thousands of forum posts.
SO, when I run entombed, absolutely nothing happens, no error message what so ever. And that makes tracing the problem difficult.
I have sql-server-compact installed, both x86 and 64 bit, dotnet is also installed. I'm running it under Windows 10. Also tried some compatibility options.
Is there anything else I'm missing?

DO you also have DirectX latest version installed as well?

Yeah, it should be. When I google direct x for windows 10 it says:
Windows 10 and Server 2016 Technical Preview

DirectX 11.3 and 12 are included with these Windows versions.
Updates will be available through Windows Update. There is no stand-alone package for these versions of DirectX.

Aa, it seams the older version, 1.2I runs well. I tried the newer beta before it.
And after installing the beta after the old version, everything seems to work now.
