Hi all,

The question is actually rather simple smile

Are there any builder games available on ios in wich you build a space empire? Construct fleets etc?

Other building games are fine as well. I know of lords and Knights and celtic tribes, also of crazy tribes. But i can't get it very clear wich other accessible ones are there smile

Hope to hear from someone soon.

Sadly no.
starbase Orion had potential but the developer literally turned round and said they refused to add accessibility because it was a waste of their time.

Just yesterday I checked something called Tera genesis which sounded fascinating, a single player game about terraforming planets, but sadly I can't even begin the game as no buttons are labeled.

God I really! want that single player space empire game now!

That we dwell in our dreaming and singing, A little apart from ye. (Arthur O'Shaughnessy 1873.)

Hi,

@dark

that's unfortunate. But do you probably know of ios games other then the ones mentioned above? It doesn't have to be space building ones specifically. Just curious.

But i understand your frustration, may i call it this way? The concept you described of a single player building game sounds also appealing to me.

I know lots of Ios games. The hosted games and choice of games gamebook series are very worth a look, then for gamebooks there is delight games premium (which I'm checking out now). With your love of tactics and building I can highly recommend King of dragon pass, one part gamebook, one part rpg, one part city building and all around awesome! just be prepared to spend hours adicted big_smile.

there is  land of Livia which is a pretty cool rpg, also if you like rpgs there is a dark room, the ensign, nanno empire, and  turn based battle and tactics the battle arena games. There is star traders elite which plays a little like smugglers though with a more random universe, There are several time based story games such as those from 3d realms like lifeline and its sequel, and of course the very  awesome timecrest.

There is then the social hub for gaming huboodle, which has everything from trivia to casino games to word searches, wonderfully strange friends of the prince and the unique card game lost cities, the tactical fruit machine fruitpot,  as well as some dice games like dice world, and a hole bunch of card and dice games from blindfold games.

blindfold games also do several action arcade and sport titles, I rather like their take on the classic breakout and their juggling game is fun.

moving into action, while sadly we don't have somethinelse anymore, you can still play blindside and a blind legend for 3d adventure experiences, and all of the games from audio it are out there, ranging from fast arcade titles like space encounter to audio adventures like the inquisitor series, they even have some racing games too.

that is what occurs to me at the moment, though I'm likely missing some, and of course remember people are always trying out new games and such over on applevis.

Hth.

now that I have an IOS device as well, that's a nice list. I was a bit disapointed to see that flarestar and audiospeed from Audio.it aren't available anymore. But in Terms of let's say Story driven games, i can also add multipath Audio, the ear-play app as well as an adventure named the Girl who sold the world. Maybe that is worth a try as well. Another worth game collection could be the Audio game hub.
I was very happy to find ITunes Business, also known as iTunes 12.6.3, wich has the appstore still implemented, so I can load all the things from the app store wich I bought and back it up on my PC. That was something I realy liked on IOS devices. BTW, can I even backup in-app-purchases localy as well?
