I was asked to be a guest writer on Rolling Stone, and I referenced this site. Hopefully this helps awareness without causing the site problems. It made the main page of the Rolling Stone website.

Whoa, Karen—look at you, writing for Rolling Stone! Congratulations, and thank you on behalf of everyone in this community for what you're doing to promote game accessibility. I hate that I won't get the chance to catch up with you at GDC this year...there's always next year, I guess. Will you be presenting anything on accessibility at GAConf or GDC this year?

I'm giving a GDC presentation called "triple A gaming while blind" that covers what I've learned from members here already playing EA games, plus covers some of the early work in this area.

I'm also giving a GAConf presentation called "ramping up accessibility" which describes how I created an official accessibility presence at EA.

Thanks, everyone. I hope the article encourages more developer interaction with this community. - Karen Stevens

Thank you, on behalf of the moderation panel.  You and I have had no dealings, but anyone who performs an act of service to better the gaming community so that all gamers are on equal playing fields is an appreciated part of our forum.
