Hello all,
So i want to play judgement day on windows 10.
However, when i go to run the game i get an error 429. activex component cannot create object.
How do i go about fixing this, if at all possible?

Hi.

Judgement day will play fine on windows ten provided you have the right dependencies installed.
to get them just install Jim kitchin's games since it comes with everything, then install one of Aprone's games and run the checkup file.

Then you should be absolutely fine and judgement day works great.

Yeah @Dark's sugestion will fix you up, its doing that because its written in VB6 and needs that stuff to work. I use Aprone's games as their checkup files all the time to make older stuff work.

Judgment day is fine on win 10 but it is very fast. Like the beginning cutscenes  overlap because win 10 just runs things so quick. But yes the checkup file is a must. It has helped me many times to run older software.  Also it helps to get super Liam running under win 10 as well.
