Hi.
I heard about the mgs series a long time ago but never got around getting into it more because due to other things on my mind. Now, hearing let's plays of the first MGS game and the reports of others that this game is apparently accessible, even though I wonder how, I am interested to know more about the game, how it is played as a blind person and in the end, play it myself.
What I have already is the PSX emulator, I think it's psx 1.1.3 or something like that.
Those who play the game or have completed it, is there a guide or something like that available or how do you play this game? I have to see where I can get the game though.
Thanks in advance for answers
Greetings Moritz.

frig if I know, it requires vision. I've played the games, but visually, I can't imagine how you would do so otherwise, no, they are most definitely not accessible. I've heard the rumors too that someone's completed it. If so, they've clearly had too much time on their hands, and infinite patience, lol.

There is a walkthrough somewhere in the Forum which tells you every single step you must walk in order to beat the game. You probably can find it if you do a Forum search.

We are pleased, that you made it through the final challenge, where we pretended we were going to murder you. We are throwing a party in honor of your tremendous success. Place the device on the ground, then lay on your stomach with your arms at your sides. A party associate will arrive shortly to collect you for your party. Assume the party submission position or you will miss the party.

The only things required to play the game are a good gamefaqs guide, a bit of patience, and much use of first person view
optionally, might be sorta considered cheating but quicksaves if you're using an emulator, save you much frustration

Yep, have gotten all the way up to the tank fight on console, it's definitely playable. Kinda want to pick this up again.

Take care, it's a desert out there.

I guess its a matter of how you want to spend your time, for me, its very simple, 5 hours of endless frustration, cursing, a few fun moments, but mostly god awful annoyance and frustration... or, 5 hours of watching porn and fapping, Yeah, I think I'll go with the latter.

Stinking thing censoring me, I'll just leave it in rather than work around the system because its kind of cute, anyway, you get the idea.

Hi.
Hmm, ok, got the game by now, but had to switch the emulators.
I am using epsxe now because the original psx was sort of frame skipping or something like that, the sounds were really disstorted.
But, problem with epsxe, it seams that it recognizes my controller, but I can't use it.
Does someone have experiences with epsxe?
