i try to run the game and, nothing, it says: windows is looking for a way to fix the problem, blah blah blah. then it just exits, i've downloaded the game from it's site, and i've also downloaded an update. still, nothing, any tips? running windows 8.1.

I've had this issue too. There's no way to fix it it's a bad bug I think. Sometimes hitting the close program button then starting entombed again works. Also restarting your computer and then starting entombed works also. You might also run into a problem when you start the game where it says there was an error and entombed closes itself. Just do the same things I told you before.

still, no luck, i've restarted my PC and still nothing. i've ran it multiple times and still the stupid bug comes up.

Hi.
I may not be remembering correctly but I think I started having trouble like this when I installed the update. Try uninstalling entombed completely, I mean remove every trace of it then install entombed without the update and see if that helps. I know this is not ideal but if it makes you feel any better the update didn't add any new features or sounds or anything like that it was mostly a bug fix update.

i did that, i've removed the game from the program files x 86 then removed it from trash, instauled it it again and still nothing.
i've tried a couple of places, www.agarchive.net, the games site, and i've gone and downloaded it from here, or the link ag.net provided which was leading to the games site but still no luck. i have ran the game before on this PC, and now it seems weird that it doesn't want to do it again.

Have you opened it then waited a few minutes to run? You will hear the intro start. Start it then do something else and wait until it runs. So is the entombed window open after you press enter on it? If the window doesn't open this might be another weird problem.

Did you have .net framework 3.5 or later and directX installed on your system? You might missing some of those.
Post 6, it opens itself, then closes. post 7. I think I do. It prompted me to download something missing, I clicked yes, and it did that. After that no more prompting. It must've been installed.
