Just wondered before I went and contaacted anyone whether everyone was finding the news on the front page missing or is it just me?
Thanks.
Thanks, I've dropped a messagee to Senderman.
The newsis maybe gone because it's a new year.
It's just a thouht.
Nah, it was there a couple days ago.
Hmm this is weird, the PacMate Gear site is doing the exact same thing.
Hmmm, weerd indeed, especially as I posted the thing about the mack on Wednesday, thus making it deffinately news of 2008.
I hope this gets fixed soon.
oh boy, not good, I don't see it ither
and me neither! but i posted to the broken links forum, then saw this topic. woops! ah well.
Hmmm, stil missing. If it's not fixed by the time I get back to my flat and my big Pc (with my big address book on it), I'll give richard a yell. I just hope it isn't anything I've done in the news forum.
Like I said PacMate Gear seem to be having a similar issue, and the links on the page look the same about the archive. My best guess is that both PMG and AG use a script hosted on another address, and this script has been altered or something like that and now no longer works. Just a random guess though and I could always be wrong.
Posted to the news room about the new Audio Quake release. The news part of the froont page might still be down, but if you hop through the headings on the list of forum sections you can see if there are any new posts to the newsroom just like with the general game discussion and off topic room.
I've sent richard an e-mail about the news, and he's going to look into it, but apparently Sander is stil on holiday and it's him who usually deals with this sort of thing, but he'll be back soon, so either way it shouldn't be long before it's fixed.
Ah, that was the impression I got and why I sent him the message originally. Thanks Dark.
Well, things seem to be back up and running now, thanks to Sander and Richard.
They do indeed. Much appreciated if either of you are reading this.
