@kyle12 I do know of a bug that'll freeze the game when calling the playsound function that plays dynamic sounds and is used in stuff like when you pick up the battery, but haven't been able to find a fix for it because of no error. @kingzombie Your not the first to report it, tamecki also reported a bug like that. I think I might have a fix for it. @everyone else, i've fixt the major server lag when you'd target someone. Go crazy with combat. In addition, i've added a new change. If you target an object and it is something, like for instance, a fighter and it has an engine sound instead of engine systems, you'll here that engine sound, as well as it rising and falling in pitch as your target maneuvers. Enjoy.

Hi.
1. It would be great if an update feature was in the client.
2. It's so great to see all those new things. Is a changelog being made or do you remember to keep the instructions updated?
3. Is there any news regarding the connection dropping issue? It happens so often for me, so it starts to get annoying to play the game.
4. I would love to see full multiplayer features such as the following:
You can hear where a player is walking, you can hear a player interact with something, choosing something from the inventory and almost everything other players are doing. I think this is very important when doing teamwork on ships. It would be great if you could do voicechat directly in the game. I have two ideas for that:
1. Hold down a key and speak which plays from the players persition like in Survive the wild.
2. make a communication system where people could choose a channel, or maybe even cooler, a system for each ship, so people who are on the same ship could talk together when working on a mission. This would especially be handy when players are on multiple decks on the same ship.
If full multiplayer integration  like this would be added in the future, it would be much easier to help newbies as well. I'm not comparing DeathMatch to other games, but I have realized how awesome and how big a difference it makes, for example in Survive the wild. You know exactly what an other player is doing if you know the sounds, and you are able to help in a much better way.
I don't remember if you already can do this, but it is important to be able to track a player, or at leased see where the player exactly is.
I have no idea on how difficult it would be to make all this, but I hope this will be considered in the future.

I had the issue when I tried to get the battery in the offline and got that there was an error though the battery did get picked up.
This was in last update, another issue I had was when I tried ordering a fighter, the fighter sporned on top of the shipyard.
I was able after a while to sell it and rebuy it but then the ship dialog kept popping up till I closed the game and restarted, the fighter sporned properly though in another location.
The reacter in the fighter is just to noisy.
I'd imagine that noise to be an outside thing when in flight not inside the fighter itself.
Also even though some ships have manual pilot and thats fine for say moving about if you need to, I'd like autopilot so you could get from one place to another,.
But maybe I havn't mastered manual pilot yet.

@slj You can here other players moving around you, I had it implemented 2 days ago and the same with viewing them on the viewer. @crashmaster This is a request that has been made already, and the answer for fighters getting autopilot is still no. @everyone else, i've fixt the bug that would cause you to see other people's custom ships when selling your own, designing too. I've also fixt up a few more bugs with areas and ships, which means that areas will no longer, however rair at times it would happen, be shifted to someone elses ship, requiring me to run my fix areas procedure. Enjoy.

@post 631 The game is setup like a conventional first person game, so W, A, S, and D will cause you to walk. E will interact with objects. Left and right aeros will turn you about the games world. @632 The f1 key only works in the online mode, though maybe I should put it in the offline mode as a replacement for the tutorials. You know, like that quick handbook thing I had in the bgt versions of the game. @633 The first post should be working with both linux and windows versions. @everyone else, tired of exploring sol? Want to do something else besides asteroid mining, and frustrated that your fighters get destroyed? The flashfire class corvette is coming on sale shortly. Its an orbital corvette with a landing bay for shuttles to launch and land from, as well as a rail gun and a laser cannon installed for defense. It also gives you a fusion drive with a range of 100.

in old dm we were traveled thousands of coordinates, and here is only 100?
is it useful?
if range of 100 other mean so please explain.
i understood 100 mean if we are at coordinates 000 so we can only travel with fusion drive 100 0 0, is it right?

@Farhad: This isn't DMNB though, this is DMPA and the range right now is 100. There's a rreason for it that DXanny knows and it may well get upgraded in the future but right now it's what we have to work with. I'm sorry but all I've seen you do on the game (in Hindi no less) and on the forum is complain and complain about things, please try to look at the positives this game gives us all

Greetings. It would appear that the lag has gone away after I disabled the asteroid loop responsible for destroying asteroids once they had 0 contents. Thus, asteroids will now stay if you have 0 contents on them. Ships are a bit slower now since I was doing more tinkering with them, but i'll be restoring them back as soon as possible. In the meantime, any more lag problems let me know. @farhad, because these for 1, fusion range differs on different classes of ship, and for 2, galactic coordinates are not the same thing as your ships actual in system coordinates. You can not jump from 0 0 0 to 100 100 100 and remain in sol.

Shooting asteroids with the 'vette laser causes issus.

I sho one, client died, and when I logged back in tho scan it gave ma huge - number for roid health. Not entirely sure what I did there. Also, the laser and railgun on the corvette needa a slight buff I feel to be able to one shot smaller ships and damage capital level craft.

One more thing: I happen to like the sounds for the corvette by the way

Greetings. Now that uncharted systems are implemented and fully exploreable, i've now blocked off combat in the sol system for those who don't want their ships to be destroyed. You can however fight it out in every other system, no rules. For those wundering how to get your fighters their, if you have a corvette or know of a friend who has a corvette, take your fighter to it, land on it and fusion jump.

these are all taken from the old Atari ST game Sundog (or Sundog: Frozen Legacy or Resurrection in some areas)

1. A ground vehicle for exploring planets. In Sundog you had the Pod that fit into the back of the ship and was deployed on planets. My idea is this: Have a ground vehicle that's one romom worth of maps with a gun on it (a laser maybe) and it can be unloaded from a landed shuttle and driven around

2. Shops.  In Sundog planets  had shops where you went to buy items and parts (see below), and ach shop had  ause, parts shops, a bank, a hotel to save the game, a bar and so forth

3. Parts and systems.

Credit to  Jake B. He suggested that parts and systems should wear down over time and I agree, in Sundog oyu had parts and various parts.

Control nodes were the one that could not be rplaced, for the other parts you could use shunts that were cheap and temporary replacements, and if you were missing a part your systems wouldn't work, for instance if you were missing a control node, your guns wouldn't work

So, I'm stating this.....parts should be buyable and and able to be stored in a shuttle, the Pod, or a ship's storage, and used for fiixng up various systems.
