Hi.
So I've finally got time to give the game a try.
I find the gameplay and controls pretty easy when you've got used to them, but I find it very difficult to know what's going on, to check my health and know what items I have in my inventory. Well, I must have done something right, because I ended up in room 4, and sorry to say, but I got bored of the game because I find it difficult and confusing to get an idea about what's going on.
How do we get more weapons and spells?
I might give the game an other try later.

Well, i ended in room 3 and i must tell this game is potentially great but lacks of audio structure and ingeneral problems for me in navigating.

Hi,

This sounds great. I click on the run file though, and absolutely nothing happens. I have openal installed.. What should I do?

I'm going to try make the game easier to understand and a bit more faster to move around, it's definitely a top priority once I get back to it.

Enemies usually drop weapons and armour once they're defeated. Stronger enemies drop stronger equipment. Stronger equipment have a higher pitched sound to your current equipment. It might only be slightly higher in pitch if it's not that much stronger so its up to you to make that decision.

Spells are found littered around levels like potions. They become available gradually every 3 levels. So levels 1 to 3 only have rockthrow, 4 to 7 will also have fireball, 8 to 11 will also have poisondart and 12 onwards have freezeshot.

I'm not sure, but going from previous posts, I'm guessing you don't have the latest Java version installed. Link here:

This sounds like a good idea. I'm going to be downloading it later on today. Please don't make it to easy. smile I'll get back to you after I play it a few times... Good luck with school.

Thought I'd give a quick update and some... bad news.

My exams just ended last week but I also started my first job this week!

I really want to thank you guys for all the support. I wanted to show my appreciation by continuing to work on it but it's been a busy month and I've found working 8 hours a day is really demanding with everything I need to learn on top. I doubt I'll be able to continue working on this game any time soon because of that.
