A new version of Pontes GameZone, 1.2.1, was released today.
This version has now a pawn shop where personal goods can be sold or taken back paying 20% more. The player can sell watch, phone, laptop, bracelet, motorcycle or car. There are different sounds for each object when it is sold or taken back.
There is also now a bathroom with double-u, sink and hands drier. This bathroom is needed after drinking a lot at bar area.
Pontes GameZone has now a goal: winning more than one million dollars, the casino goes bankrupt; this performance can be post on the Pontes Android site, in the GameZone page, with a chosen name.
I added also ambience sounds in bar area and in pawn shop. During games, the user can now listen to background midi music played randomly. The background sounds can be disabled, or adjusted in volume.

Of course, new games will be added.

Hi.
Thanks for this new update.
I already had about 9000000 before updating so it wasn't difficult for the game to ask for my name.
But i think it would be better if we could set the goll of how much money we want to win.
For example after the milion we could choose perhaps 10 milion, then 50 and at the end even a bilion dollars.
Pocker is my favourite game.

Yes, slot machine is easy to be added.

I heared now that for many users one million dollars is a too easy goal.

Please don't shake the phone in bar area...

After 6 players managed the casino to be gone bankrupt, I created the table for top 15 bankruptcies.

Wow. This is pretty neat. My goal is to beat Connect 4. tongue I really enjoy this package of games. There aren't many accessible games for Android, so it is always good to see updates and new versions added to the list.

Of course, the game can be translated into other languages.
There is an XML file which can be opened with a simple text editor.
The strings are of type:

<string name="welcome_message">Welcome to Pontes GameZone</string>

In the line above, the translatable part is between greater and less signs, the same line for a Spanish version could be:

<string name="welcome_message">Bienvenido a Pontes GameZone</string>

There are already translations in Romanian and Italian, the last being translated by Luigi Russo from Italy.

If someone is willing to translate the game, the following file contains all strings in English:
strings_original.zip
I need the same file with strings translated, after I will include it in the package.
In future, new strings will be added at the bottom of the file, this way being easier to continue the work.
The file is archived as zip file, this way the download can start easier.

I will add other games, Slot Machine is one of the easiest to be implemented.
