Well we’re a fortnight into 2022, and all is cheerful and bright; oh okay, some things are cheerful and bright; oh alright, not very much is cheerful and bright!
Oh okay, all is dark and gloomy, and not the good kind of dark.

That being said the latter part of 2021 has seen some pretty amazing news in the world of audiogames, and even if the database isn’t currently editable (I blame the cyber elves), there are definitely matters people should be aware of.

First Hearth stone! For those who don’t know, hearthstone is a massive online collectable card game, setup by blizzard entertainment taking place in the warcraft universe.
Up until now, being %100 graphical the game has been inaccessible.

however, that’s changing. A developer by the name of Guide dev has created This amazing mod, which lets the game output to NVDA.

Though so far some bits of the game (such as the mercenaries campaign), are inaccessible or require more complex solutions, Guide devs program will happily let you fight your way through the tutorial, and the book of heroes battles, collect cards, battle online, create cards, build your own unique decs and raise your rank.

Fantasy adventuring hasn’t’ just been happening with major mainstream developers either.
After years of development, the vale shadow of the crown, the first title of falling squirrel games, came onto the seen last august to great acclaim.

With high quality voice acting and a surprisingly good story, The vale takes first person adventuring to the next level.
To find out more, or purchased the game on steam or itch.io, see this topic.

Of course, there’s been lots more going on, from updates to existing games like Hell hunter, Eamon remastered  and crazy party, to some new finds like Bc 4000 and Oriol Gomez new title, lucky strike, so feel free to head over to The new releases  room , and take a browse, hopefully forgetting the general level of grimness around in the world at the moment.

With our dreaming and singing, Ceaseless and sorrowless we! The glory about us clinging Of the glorious futures we see,
Our souls with high music ringing; O men! It must ever be
That we dwell in our dreaming and singing, A little apart from ye. (Arthur O'Shaughnessy 1873.)
