i Just checked alchemy game studios and it says that monty will be
released before new years.
well i think we gotta wait, and see if that will
be true. i hope it will, because I've been bored for some time.

supposed to be out today. Look on the order form it says 12/31/2005. Well
it's not out. m gonna stay up til 12 tonight to check and theyre in
California which is 3 hours behind that means if it was to come out at 12:00
it will be 9:00 for me. I want that game so bad!

hate those people. I mean, gosh, how could a game be said to be out, last
year, be accepting orders, say its shipping, rmember that? A demo was
supposed to be out after last new year. Then it was supposed to be out
sometime last year, then it was supposed to be out soon, and now this! I
mean how could they say something is shipping and make people spend money
for no reason? If this game is never out and all the money goes to waste, I
wouldn't be surprised.

What I've seen in this topic is almost as bad
as the thing for Tournament of the Nine Kings, for crying out loud. Haven't
you guys learned anything? Whining and making yourself look either
desperately bored or pathetically circuitous isn't going to make the game
come faster.
It sucks when someone says a game is coming on a certain
date, and then doesn't pull through. No argument on that score. But since
when did whining about a bad detail ever change it? Hell, have you thought
that maybe this guy's got honest-to-god drawbacks that are screwing him
over? (One could then argue that he shouldn't be setting release dates but
that's beside the point). It's this simple: when you don't get the damn
game when you want it, you whine and circle about like a bunch of hungry
vultures looking for the last few scraps on a kill. It's sickening, really.
Haven't you got better things to do?
If you can't give the developer
the benefit of the doubt at least some of the time, you do not deserve to
play their game. That's as simple as it gets.

Oh...and I would also like to add the following:
1. Posting potentially
damaging stuff about game developers in open forums is not only foolish,
it's terribly disrespectful as well.
2. There are any number of things for
the people to do if they ordered this game and it hasn't come yet. You can
cancel an order, you can ask for your money back, and unless the developer
is really really slippery and a wicked crinimal, he's going to refund; to
do otherwise will all but destroy his reputation, not to mention possibly
landing him in jail. So use some common sense when you whine about a game
you ordered before it was shipped. It's your own damn fault if problems
like this arise. Faith is good; too much faith makes people fidget.
3. Last
and certainly not least: I believe a game's going to come out when I see
proof: a damo, a press release, that sort of thing...something substantive,
in other words. I, myself, if I ever develop games, will not let anyone
besides my development team know what's going on until I can show you, the
gaming community, something for your trouble. Not everyone is like this; we
have at least one member who isn't. So I guess I'm saying "Practise what
you preach", to an extent, to said person(s).

Anyways, back to the point. I couldn't dig up the message, but I
know what it said. It was something about James having to spend the last
minute activities with his brother who almost died. So as for Monty, would
you be more concerned about a game which was going to a community you know
flamed you a lot, or would you be more concerned about your brother? Answer
that, you people who have no patience...

am not rewriting my post, saying how rediculous it is, just read it! Yeah,

Hmmm, I'm beginning to understand why I've stopped coming on here as
much. The people on the Sryth forum seem to have soooo much more common
sense than some of you guys. Like a few people on here have said, stop!
complaining! Remember what happened to BPC Programs? Who can blame Munawar?
I'm not saying James is entirely blameless but you guys aren't helping
any! It's like Jade and several others have said. How do you think you'd
feel if you were a game developer and you came on the forum and only saw
flames directed toward you? Hell, they wouldn't even have to be directed at

yes,
actually... bpc programs... for a moment i thought yoiu had made a mistache,
you ment xlstudios, but now i remember.
he had to release like 5 patches
for treasure hunt 4.0. he was gonna make it all happen in 1 release, but a
lot of people were impationt.
mike, i am not going against you or anything,
but... so what if it's been a couple of years? i am not complaining about
monty, am i? when tonk didn't come out, did i complain? no. perhaps what
the guys are saying is right. they want you to just have some comon sence,
and i know ***everyone*** has it somewhere in them.
it's just not good

words, did that make sence?
