If you want to edit your profile, find the list near the top of the webpage and go down until you find a profile link. From there, you can click on it, and it brings you to a page. Go past the list at the top of the page, and as you’re going down you should find another list with tabs where you can customize different settings. Below those tabs there’s a heading you can jump to with your heading command and you can edit the various settings on the tab you’re on. As for BBCode, there is a list of links above the message field that you can click to get a webpage with the various commands that you can use.
